History

Turn 3 Motorsport was founded in 2016 by race car driver and coach Peter Dempsey. The team specializes in race car preparation, engineering, and driver development. The team competes in the USF Pro Championships. [2]

2019 season

Turn 3 Motorsport competed in its inaugural racing season, securing championship titles in the 1340cc, 1500cc. [3] [4]

NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill

Turn 3 Motorsport emerged won the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill endurance race. [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]

Subsequent Seasons

2020 Indy Pro 2000 Championship

Turn 3 Motorsport won the 2020 season opener of the 2020 Indy Pro 2000 Championship with driver Daniel Frost. Throughout the season, the team secured a pole position, earned sixth fastest time overall, and placed third overall [10] [11] [12]

2021 Expansion and Success

In 2021, Turn 3 Motorsport expanded to a two-car operation in the Cooper Tires 2021 USF2000 Championship while continuing their Indy Pro 2000 campaign. The team won the season finale of their inaugural USF2000 season with American driver Josh Green. [13] Additionally, they earned another podium finish and secured fifth place overall in the championship. In the Indy Pro 2000 series, Turn 3 Motorsport won the season finale with driver James Rose and secured a pole position at World Wide Technology Raceway, finishing seventh overall in the championship. 2022 Road to Indy

In 2022, Turn 3 Motorsport achieved podium finishes, a race win, and pole positions in seven out of nine races on the Road to Indy schedule. Drivers Josh Green, Jonathan Browne, and Christian Weir contributed to these accomplishments across both the USF2000 and Indy Pro 2000 championships. [17] [18]

2023 and 2024

In 2023, Turn 3 Motorsport tied for the most wins in the 2023 USF Pro 2000 season. Drivers Michael d'Orlando and Christian Brooks secured a total of five victories for the team. The team also earned seven pole positions and additional podium finishes, ultimately finishing second overall in the Team championship. [19] [20] [21] [22]

In 2024, Turn 3 Motorsport clinched the 2024 USF Pro 2000 Championship with driver Lochie Hughes. [23] Hughes won the season-opening round in St. Petersburg, Florida, and achieved a clean sweep of wins at the Road America tripleheader event. [4] [24] The team secured four pole positions, five wins, and six additional podium finishes, finishing second in the Team Championship. [25] [26]

Christian Brooks is an American racing driver. He currently competes in INDY NXT racing series for HMD Motorsports in the #39 car and the 2024 USF Pro 2000 Championship driving for Pabst Racing in the #19 car. Brooks previously drove for Turn 3 Motorsport in the USF Pro 2000 Championship and previously competed in the USF2000 Championship with Exclusive Autosport. Brooks is the only driver to win four times at the streets of St. Petersburg out of all racing categories including IndyCar.

The 2022 USF2000 Championship was the thirteenth season of the USF2000 Championship since its revival in 2010. The championship serves as the first rung of the IndyCar Series's Road to Indy ladder system. An 18 race schedule was announced on October 5, 2021 featuring five permanent road courses, two street circuits, and a single oval in the Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.

Jay Howard Driver Development (JHDD) is an American motorsport team that currently competes in the USF Pro 2000 Championship, the USF2000 Championship, and in USF Juniors. The team was founded in 2012 by former IndyCar Series driver Jay Howard.

Myles Rowe is an American racing driver. He is set to compete in the 2025 Indy NXT driving for Abel Motorsports with Force Indy. He is the 2023 USF Pro 2000 champion. Rowe competed in the 2022 USF2000 Championship with Pabst Racing as well as with Force Indy.
