UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs. Manuwa (also known as UFC Fight Night 37 [2] ) was a mixed martial arts event held on March 8, 2014, at The O2 Arena in London, England. [3] The event was shown live in the UK on Channel 5 and BT Sport and in the United States on UFC Fight Pass.
A bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Jimi Manuwa headlined the event. [3]
UFC President Dana White initially announced that a bout between Gustafsson and Antônio Rogério Nogueira would be headlining the event. [4] However, just 5 days after the fight was announced news came that Nogueira had to withdraw from the bout due to an injury. [5] [6] Later, reports came that said that Nogueira had never agreed to take the fight against Gustafsson at all. [7]
Ross Pearson was expected to face Melvin Guillard in a rematch at the event. However, Pearson pulled out of the bout citing a knee injury and was replaced by Michael Johnson. [8]
Brad Pickett was expected to make his Flyweight debut against Ian McCall on this card. [9] However, on February 13, it was announced that McCall had pulled out of the bout and was replaced by promotional newcomer Neil Seery. [10]
A bout between Roland Delorme and Davey Grant was cancelled after the weigh ins the day before the event due to Grant suffering a torn meniscus. [11] [12]

He competed in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. A professional competitor since 2002, Rua is also the 2005 PRIDE Middleweight Grand Prix Champion.
Antônio Rogério Nogueira, also known as Minotouro or Lil Nog, is a Brazilian former mixed martial artist who most recently competed in the UFC. He is the twin brother of Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, the "Minotauro", earning Rogério the nickname "Minotouro". A proficient amateur boxer, he was the 2006 and 2007 Brazilian Super Heavyweight Champion. He also won a bronze medal in the 2007 Pan American Games.

He spent most of his career competing for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he was a multiple time title challenger, before ending his career with a single fight with Bellator MMA. He fought in the welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. Johnson had a small acting role as a fighter in a large international mixed martial arts tournament called Sparta in the 2011 film Warrior.
Cyrille Moktar Diabaté is a retired French mixed martial artist and kickboxer. He has also competed in shoot boxing and Muay Thai. He has fought at Palace Fighting Championship, Tachi Palace Fights, PRIDE, ShoXC, Deep, Cage Rage and the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
