USAF Team Handball is a handball club from Air Force Academy, Colorado, United States. They are the handball team of the United States Air Force Academy. They are one of the most successful men's college teams. Besides the Adelphi University and UCLA they are the only college team which has won an adult national title in 1978. [2]
After the Falcons men's basketball became second at the 1976 USA Team Handball Nationals in the adults and collegiate divisions the club was founded in 1976 by the two basketball captains Bob Djokovich and Thomas Schneeberger they both played at the 1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics. [3] [4]
At the 2015 Summer Universiade the club represented the national team. They had additionally one student from the Colorado State University. [5] [6]

The Colorado Buffaloes are the athletic teams that represent the University of Colorado Boulder. The university sponsors 16 varsity sports teams. Both the men's and women's teams are called the Buffaloes or, rarely, the Golden Buffaloes. "Lady Buffs" referred to the women's teams beginning in the 1970s, but was officially dropped in 1993. The nickname was selected by the campus newspaper in a contest with a $5 prize in 1934 won by Andrew Dickson of Boulder.

The Air Force Falcons are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the United States Air Force Academy, located in El Paso County, Colorado north of Colorado Springs. The athletic department has 17 men's and 10 women's NCAA-sanctioned teams. The current athletic director is Nathan Pine. The majority of Falcon teams compete as members of the Mountain West Conference.

West Point Team Handball is a handball club from West Point, New York, United States. They are the handball team of the United States Military Academy. They play with four teams at various competitions. There are two teams for each gender. The West Point Black team is the first team and the West Point Gold team is the second team. They have won the most College National Championships in their collegiate league with the men's team winning their 15th consecutive College National Championship in 2023 at Tiffin University.

The Men's Elite Division is a team handball tournament to determine the National Champion from the US. Only qualified teams are allowed to play in this division. The other teams who fail to qualify play in the Open Division. Automatic bids are given to the winners of the Northeast Team Handball League, and the Midwest Team Handball and, in the past, were also given to the Great Lakes Team Handball Association, and Western Team Handball League. In the current format, the Elite Division comprises 8 teams. Before the Elite Division existed the National Champion was claimed at the Open Division.
The men's open national is a USA Team Handball tournament to determine the handball open national champion from the US. This is the second highest level of competition in the United States. Not qualified teams for the men's elite division are allowed to play in this division. Before the men's elite division was established, the national champion was crowned at the open division.
The women's open national is a USA Team Handball tournament to determine the national handball champion from the US. Chicago Inter holds the most title in the women's division. The current US reigning champion is San Francisco CalHeat.
