Uhogua is a populated town and is located in Ovia North-East Local Government Area in Edo State, Nigeria. [1] [2] [3]
Benin City is the capital and largest city of Edo State, Nigeria. It is the fourth-largest city in Nigeria according to the 2006 census, after Lagos, Kano, and Ibadan, with a population estimate of about 1,500,000 as of 2016. It is situated approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of the Benin River and 320 kilometres (200 mi) by road east of Lagos. Benin City is the centre of Nigeria's rubber industry, and oil production is also a significant industry.
Edo, commonly known as Edo State, is a state located in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Created in 1991 from the former Bendel State, is also known as the heart beat of the nation. Nigeria has 774 local government areas (LGAs), each administered by a local government council consisting of a chairman, who is the chief executive, and other elected members, who are referred to as councillors. Each LGA is further subdivided into a minimum of ten and a maximum of twenty wards. A ward is administered to by a councillor, who reports directly to the LGA chairman. Anioma people are a subgroup of the Igbo ethnic group in Delta State, Nigeria.
