The Universities of Wisconsin is a university system of public universities in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. It is one of the largest public higher-education systems in the country, enrolling more than 160,000 students each year and employing approximately 41,000 faculty and staff statewide. The system is headquartered in the state capital of Madison.

It is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School that offers the IB Diploma Program to high school students. Madison Country Day School is informally known as "MCDS".
Cardinal Stritch University was a private Roman Catholic university with its primary campus in Fox Point and Glendale, Wisconsin. Its enrollment as of fall 2021 was 1,365. The university closed in May 2023 due to financial challenges and declining enrollment.
Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC) is a private liberal arts college affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and located on the border of Milwaukee and Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. It has an enrollment of about 1,200 students and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

The Avery Coonley School (ACS), commonly called Avery Coonley, is an independent, coeducational day school serving academically gifted students in preschool through eighth grade (approximately ages 3 to 14), and is located in Downers Grove, DuPage County, Illinois. The school was founded in 1906 to promote the progressive educational theories developed by John Dewey and other turn-of-the-20th-century philosophers, and was a nationally recognized model for progressive education well into the 1940s. From 1943 to 1965, Avery Coonley was part of the National College of Education (now National Louis University), serving as a living laboratory for teacher training.

ULS opened in 1956 on the 1840 Vettelson Farm near the eastern shore of Nagawicka Lake. Anne Vettelson deeded the land to the School on two conditions: that she be allowed to live the remainder of her life on the land and that students chop her fire wood each winter. University Lake School proudly sits on 180 acres of pristine woodland forest boasting a variety of managed ecological niches including restored prairie, crop and vegetable production, hardwood old-growth forest, and oak savannah. ULS is home to deer, turkeys, cranes, a blue heron rookery, domesticated chickens, managed bee hives, sheep, and a herd of goats.

The University of Saint Mary (USM) is a private Catholic university in Leavenworth, Kansas, United States. It is sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, who established it in 1923 as Saint Mary College. Though it was originally a school for women, the school is now coeducational. Wisconsin Lutheran High School, commonly referred to as WLHS or Wisco, is a private preparatory religious high school in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. WLHS was formed when the Lutheran High School in Milwaukee, founded in 1903, split in the 1950s over doctrinal differences. Both resulting schools use the 1903 founding date and are thus the oldest Lutheran high schools in the United States. WLHS is owned and operated by a group of Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) congregations in the Milwaukee area.
Elmer Dayton Mitchell was an American football and basketball coach in Michigan who is considered the father of intramural sports. He was the first varsity basketball coach at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and the founder of that school's intramural sports program. Through 2010, he has the highest winning percentage of any head coach in Eastern Michigan Eagles men's basketball history.
Valley Fields is a 1,750-seat outdoor stadium and practice facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, primarily used by the varsity men's and women's soccer and lacrosse teams at Marquette University, all of which compete in the Big East Conference. The complex houses bleachers, locker rooms, practice fields and a main stadium.
