The University of Gadarif (also called Gedaref, Gedarif or El Gadarif) is a public university in the town of Al Qadarif, capital of the state of Al Qadarif in Sudan. [1] The university was founded in 1990. [2] Faculties include Medicine and Health Sciences, Computer Science and Information Technology, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Agricultural and Environmental, Education and Sharia and Islamic Studies. [3] The university is a member of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World [4] and the Foundation for Advancement of international Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). [5]

International University is a private higher education institution specializing in medicine and medical science. Established in 2002, IU is recognized and nationally accredited by the government of Cambodia, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and the Accreditation Committee of Cambodia (ACC). The medium of instruction used at IU are English and Khmer.

Omdurman Islamic University (OIU) is built on an area of size about 800 feddans in Omdurman, Sudan. While the school is primarily oriented toward Islamic studies, it serves other fields of studies as well, such as Engineering, Agriculture and Medicine. Omdurman Islamic University is a member of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.

University of Gezira, or U of G, is a public university located in Wad Medani, Sudan. It is a member of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">University of Kordofan</span>

The University of Kordofan is one of the largest universities in Sudan located in El-Obeid 560 km to the southwest of Khartoum. It was founded in 1990 and is recognized as one of the top universities in Sudan. It features several institutes, academic units and research centres, including the Institute of Gum Arabic Research and Desertification Studies, the Centre for Intermediate Technology in Agriculture and a Deanship for Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies. It is a member of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">University of Kufa</span>

The University of Kufa is one of Iraqi universities located in Kufa, Iraq. It was founded on December 23, 1987 of only two faculties; Education for Women and Medicine. Worthy mentioned that the Faculty of Medicine was established roughly a decade earlier and it was affiliated to Al-Mustansiriyah University. In 1989, the Faculty of Arts was initiated consisting of only two departments: History and Arabic Language, and then in 1993 the faculties of Administration, Sciences and Engineering were founded. In 1997, the Agriculture Faculty was established, then the faculty of Pharmacy in 1999.

Qassim University is a major public university in Saudi Arabia. The main campus of Qassim University covers about eight square kilometers in the heart of the region. Qassim University has over 38 Colleges, offering over 30 PhD, 70 master's, 120 Bachelor's and diploma degrees. Qassim University has over 50,000 students. 6000 Faculty and staff members. During 2016/2017 academic year, 7019 male and 9692 female students were newly enrolled at Qassim University. Qassim University is among the top 7 Saudi universities. In 2015, QS ranked Qassim University as 46 among Arab Region Rankings.

University of El Imam El Mahdi is a public Sudanese university based in the town of Kosti, Sudan. The university was founded in 1994 as a public university funded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. It is named in honor of Muhammad Ahmad al-Mahdi, the leader of the Mahdist revolution which overthrew the Ottoman-Egyptian administration and established their own "Islamic and national" government in Sudan (1885-1898).
