Unknown Seoul (Korean : 미지의 서울) is an upcoming South Korean television series starring Park Bo-young, Park Jin-young, and Ryu Kyung-soo. It is scheduled to premiere on tvN in the first half of 2025.

Synopsis

Unknown Seoul follows the story of the twin sisters who look alike but are different in personalities, who swap their lives for some reason and lead entirely different lives through a lie.

  2. Yoo Mi-rae: The older of the twins.
A lawyer at a large law firm.
A man who started out as a hedge fund CIO but later became a farm owner.

Production

Development

Director Park Shin-woo, who directed Don't Dare to Dream (2016), It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020), and Lovestruck in the City (2020–2021), is in charge of directing, and writer Lee Kang of Youth of May (2021) is in charge of writing. It is planned by Studio Dragon and co-produced by Monster Union and Higround  [ ko ]. [3]

Casting

On July 25, 2024, it was reported by Newsen that Park Bo-young received an offer for the series. [4] On the same day, Ten Asia reported that Park had been cast and will appear. [5] On September 26, BH Entertainment told Newsen that Park Jin-young received an offer to appear. [6] According to News 1 on October 8, Ryu Kyung-soo had been cast as the lead. [2] On December 3, Park Bo-young and Jin-young were reportedly confirmed to appear. [1]

Filming

Principal photography began at the end of 2024. [2]

Release

Unknown Seoul is scheduled to premiere on tvN in the first half of 2025. [3]
