Uno-X Pro Cycling Team [1]

Uno-X Pro Cycling Team is a Norwegian UCI ProTeam founded in 2010. [2] [3] The team is sponsored by fuel station chain Uno-X.

Contents

The team held UCI Continental status until 2020, when it upgraded to a ProTeam. In September 2018, the team launched a development program, the Uno-X Dare Development Team, which became a UCI Continental team in 2021. [4] The team was granted a wildcard spot to compete in the 2023 Tour de France and adopted custom jerseys sponsored by REMA 1000 for the race. [5]

Riwal Cycling Team was a Danish UCI Continental cycling team based in Himmerland. Riwal participated in races in many countries around Europe. The team's most popular achievements have been the Danmark Rundt, the Olympia's Tour in the Netherlands and the Okolo Slovenska. The team had 10 full-time riders. Most of the team riders were Danish but also includes Swedish, Dutch and Norwegian members. The team had one sports manager and several freelancers. It was founded in 2009 and merged in 2023 with team Leopard Pro Cycling from Luxemburg, to form Leopard Riwal.

Leopard TOGT Pro Cycling is a Danish based team that acts as a development team for professional road racing cyclists. It was founded in 2012 as Leopard-Trek Continental, and merged in 2023 with the Danish Riwal Cycling Team to form Leopard TOGT Pro Cycling. It was previously a team registered in Luxembourg but after the merge represented Denmark.

Team Waoo was a Danish UCI Continental team founded in 2012, and disbanded in 2019. In July 2016 Bjarne Riis and former Saxo Bank CEO Lars Seier announced that they had taken the team over and renamed it Team Virtu Pro-Veloconcept, with the intention of it functioning as the development team for a planned UCI WorldTeam. On 11 September 2017 the team changed its name into Team Virtu Cycling, after a new owner, Jan Bech Andersen, had bought one third of the shares. In July 2018, the name changed again to Team Waoo.

Uno-X Pro Cycling Team is a Norwegian professional Women's cycling team, which competes in the UCI Women's World Tour and other elite races. The team was founded in 2021, to compete in the 2022 season. The team is sponsored by Uno-X, who operate a chain of unmanned fuel stations throughout Norway and Denmark.

The Men's under-23 time trial of the 2022 UCI Road World Championships was a cycling event that took place on 19 September 2022 in Wollongong, Australia. It was the 26th edition of the championship. The race was won by Norwegian rider Søren Wærenskjold, finishing sixteen seconds ahead of Alec Segaert of Belgium.
