The Urner Kantonalbank is the cantonal bank of the Canton of Uri, having its seat in Altdorf. It was founded in 1915 and is organized as a public-law institution. The bank is the market leader in the Canton of Uri operating ten offices, other than its headquarters. History

Urner Kantonalbank was established in 1915 as the successor of the Ersparniskasse Uri. [2] In March 2016, the Landrat of Uri elected Heini Sommer as president of the bank's board. [3] In 2016 the bank's assets surpassed the 3-billion threshold for the first time. [1] Christoph Bugnon succeeded Urs Trexel at the beginning of 2017 as the bank's CEO, as the latter decided to step down from the position. [4]

Peter Spuhler is a Swiss entrepreneur and politician of the Swiss People's Party, from 1999 to 2012 he was a member of the Swiss National Council for the canton of Thurgau. Landrat of Uri

The Landrat of Uri is the legislature of the canton of Uri, in Switzerland. Uri has a unicameral legislature. The Cantonal Council has 64 seats, with members elected every four years. After the 2012 election, one of the seats remained vacant with a second election on 15 April 2012 to fill it.
