VVSB (Voetbal Vereniging Sint Bavo) is an amateur association football club from Noordwijkerhout, Netherlands. It currently plays in the Derde Divisie. [2]
The club was founded on October 26, 1931, and has played exclusively at the amateur level throughout its history. The club competed in the Hoofdklasse league in the 2009–10 season, finishing in fifth place in the Sunday A group and earning promotion to the newly established Topklasse league for the inaugural 2010–11 season through playoffs.
In 2016, VVSB became the first amateur side to qualify for the KNVB Cup Semifinals in 41 years by knocking out FC Den Bosch.
In 2023, VVSB qualified for the Tweede Divisie promotion playoffs. [3]

The 2015–16 Topklasse season was the sixth and last edition of the Dutch third tier since its inauguration in the current form in 2010. A total 32 teams participated in the league: 25 from the 2014–15 Topklasse, and the remaining seven from the 2014–15 Hoofdklasse. As usual, the competition was divided into two leagues: "Saturday" and "Sunday", who differed by the day their games were usually played.
The 2016–17 Tweede Divisie season was the first edition of the Dutch third tier since its initial dissolution from the 1970-71 season and the fifteenth overall using "Tweede Divisie" name. Fourteen teams were completed from the Topklasse Saturday and Sunday divisions. Seven highest-placed teams of each division earned promotion to constitute a new, amateur Tweede Divisie. This change in the league system was approved in a KNVB assembly in December 2014. Thus, the Topklasse and leagues below it decremented by one level, and furthermore, promotion and relegation between the Tweede Divisie and the Topklasse were implemented.
