The Van Horn Hotel on N. 3rd St. in Bismarck, North Dakota, United States, was designed by architect Arthur W. Van Horn. It was built in 1916. It has also been known as the Prince Hotel. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. [2]
Notables who have stayed there include Shirley Temple, Eleanor Roosevelt, General George C. Marshall, and Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. [1] : 6

The Soo Hotel was later known as the Princess Hotel, The Patterson Hotel Annex, The Hotel Dakotan, Heritage Recovery Center, and Heritage Apartments. It is a historic building located on Fifth Street North in Bismarck, North Dakota, United States, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It was built by prominent businessman and political powerhouse Edward Patterson in 1906 as a second-class hotel to his other property, the high-class Northwestern Hotel. The four-floor, 76-room hotel was named after the Soo Line Railroad which had arrived in town in 1902 and whose depot was located several blocks away. It was briefly the tallest building in Bismarck.

The Sanford Hotel, also known as the Conant Hotel, is a historic seven-story building in Omaha, Nebraska. It was built as a hotel for Dr. Harold Gifford, an ophthalmologist, self-professed socialist, and real estate investor, in 1916–1917. The hotel was managed by Harley Conant, who renamed it the Conant Hotel in 1939. The building was designed in the Chicago school style by architect John Latenser Sr.. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September 26, 1985.
