Ion Chirinciuc (born September 15, 1984), [2] better known by stage name Vanotek, is a Moldovan-Romanian record producer and disc jockey. [3] He started producing music for native artists before releasing his debut single "My Heart is Gone" in 2015. The song became successful in Romania, and also brought him a nomination for Best Romanian Act at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards. In November 2017, Global Records distributed his debut studio album No Sleep. Two of its singles, "Tell Me Who" and "Back to Me", reached the charts in Romania and Russia, among other countries.
Ion Chirinciuc was born September 15, 1993 in Ungheni, Moldova. [4] He moved to Romania to study at the Octav Băncilă Art School in Iași, and later relocated to Bucharest to pursue a career in music. 17 years old at that time, Vanotek went on to produce material for notable artists such as Dan Balan, Antonia and Tom Boxer. [3] [5] In 2015 he released his debut single, "My Heart is Gone", featuring vocals from Yanka. The song went on to be commercially successful in Romania, [4] and brought him a nomination for Best Romanian Act at the 2016 MTV Europe Music Awards. [6] In the same year, Vanotek attempted to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden with "I'm Coming Home", featuring the Code and Georgian. He ultimately finished in second place in Romania's selection show Selecția Națională. [4] [7] In November 2017, Vanotek released his debut album, No Sleep, distributed by Global Records. [8] Alongside the latter label, he is also signed by Ultra Music. In October 2019 Vanotek released single "Take Me" in collaboration with Ukrainian singer Myata.

Voltaj is a Romanian pop rock group. They are widely regarded as one of the most successful bands in Romanian history, with songs such as "20", "De la capăt" and "De mâine" being household hits.

"Yodel It!" is a song recorded by Romanian singers Ilinca and Alex Florea, released on 30 January 2017 by Cat Music. The track was written by Alexandra Niculae and produced by Mihai Alexandru for the Swiss band Timebelle who rejected it. It was then given to Ilinca to record. Florea was chosen as a featured artist as both Alexandru and Ilinca felt her version was incomplete. "Yodel It!" is a mixture of rock, pop and hip hop music, including Ilinca yodeling during the chorus and Florea's rap vocals. The track's optimistic lyrical message was compared to that of Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" (2014).
"No Sleepin'" is a song recorded by Romanian singer Corina and Romanian rapper JJ, released on 25 October 2010. It was written by Andrei Maria, Corina and JJ, and produced by Maria, Bogdan Albulescu, Corina and Șerban Cazan. "No Sleepin'" marked the singer's return to the music industry after a hiatus. Musically, it is a synthpop-influenced uptempo dance song featuring a piano and a clink sound in its instrumentation; its lyrics revolve around partying at night and not sleeping.

Her following singles, "Ce-ți cântă dragostea" and "Spune-mi", eventually peaked atop the national chart. Roxen was scheduled to represent Romania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with the song "Alcohol You" before the event's coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-related cancellation. Instead, Roxen was internally selected as the country's representative for the 2021 contest with the song "Amnesia", but failed to progress from the first semi-final, finishing in 12th place.
"Alcohol You" is a song recorded by Romanian singer Roxen, digitally released on 21 February 2020 by Global Records. It was written by Ionuț Armaș and Breyan Isaac, while Viky Red solely handed its production. "Alcohol You" emerged as the winner of Selecția Națională 2020 and was thus scheduled to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 before the event's cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic in China and its spread to other countries. Roxen had previously been internally selected at the country's representative by Romanian Television (TVR).
Alexandru Cotoi is a Romanian composer, producer and disc jockey signed by Global Records. Over the years, he has worked with several high-profile singers including Delia, Irina Rimes, Inna and Alexandra Stan. Under the pseudonym Sickotoy, he released the commercially successful songs "Addicted" and "You Don't Love Me" in 2019 with Minelli and Roxen, respectively, which reached the top three on the Romanian Airplay 100 chart.

"Jokero" is a song by Romanian group Akcent for their fifth studio album French Kiss with Kylie (2006). Marius Nedelcu wrote the song, while Adi Colceru and Adrian Sînă produced it. The song was officially released on 17 December 2005, when it premiered on a Romanian radio station. In February 2006, "Jokero" was announced as one of the competing songs in Selecția Națională 2006, an event used to determine Romania's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2006. Akcent asked Romanian singer Nico to perform the track with them for the competition. The song came second overall, losing to Mihai Trăistariu's "Tornerò" (2006), though it won the public vote.
