Vanxay Sinebandith (born 15 June 1969) is a Laotian sprinter. He won a bronze medal at the SEA Games and competed in the men's 400 metres at the 1992 Summer Olympics. [1]
Sinebandith was part of a six-man Laotian team at the 1992 Olympics. [2] He was seeded in the 2nd 400 metres heat. He ran 51.71 seconds to place 8th and did not advance. [3]
At the 1994 Asian Games, Sinebandith again represented Laos in the 400 metres. He ran 50.18 seconds to place 7th in his semi-final and did not advance. [4] The time was a personal best. [5]
Sinebandith entered in the 800 metres at the 1995 World Athletics Championships. He placed 7th in his heat, running 2:00.25 minutes and failing to advance. [6]
At the 1995 SEA Games in December, Sinebandith won a bronze medal in the 4 × 200 metres relay. He ran second leg for the Laotian team to split 1:30.92 minutes behind Thailand and Brunei. [7]
