Vasefjan (Persian : واصفجان‎, also Romanized as Vāşefjān, Vāşfejān, and Vāşf Jān)^[1] is a village in Karasht Rural District, in the Bumehen District of Pardis County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 96, in 28 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Karasht Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Bumehen District District, Pardis County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,534, in 1,258 families. The rural district has 6 villages. The rural district was established on December 29, 2012. The capital village is Karasht.

Bumehen District is a district (bakhsh) in Pardis County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 74,001, in 20,443 families. The District has two cities: Pardis, Bumehen. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Gol Khandan Rural District and Karasht Rural District. The district was established on December 29, 2012. The capital of the district is Bumehen.
