Composition and lyrics

On "Verdansk", "there are tiny race-related details" as Dave "uses a 'white man’s face' to book an Airbnb". [2] The track is extremely braggadocious as in a 30 second stretch, "flexes his car collection, makes fatalistic references to Call Of Duty: Warzone and laconically condemns Airbnb’s corporate racism". [3] It's noted that the track "kicks the album off with Brick Lane wisecracks". [4]

Music video

The music video was released alongside an extra verse titling the track, "Verdansk (Survival Mode)" on September 8, 2021, directed by Nathan James Tettey and Dave himself. [1] The video is "dominated by the theme of war to coincide with Dave’s militant approach on the track". [1] [5]
