Verkhnekolymsk (Russian : Верхнеколымск; Yakut : Үөһээ Халыма, Üöhee Xalıma) is a rural locality (a selo ), the only inhabited locality, and the administrative center of Verkhnekolymsky Rural Okrug of Verkhnekolymsky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) from Zyryanka, the administrative center of the district. [1] Its population as of the 2010 Census was 365, [2] up from 355 recorded in the 2002 Census. [1]
