The Victor Central School District is a public school district in New York State that serves approximately 4,500 students in the Village of Victor and portions of the towns of Farmington and Victor in Ontario County; portions of the town of Perinton in Monroe County; and portions of the town of Macedon in Wayne County, with an operating budget of approximately $64 million (~$9,884 per student in 2004 [1] ). The average class size is 24 students (all grades), as of 2006. [2] The student-teacher ratio is 14-15:1(elementary), 13-14:1(middle-high school). [3] As of 2018, there are a total of 475 staff members. [4]

The Board of Education (BOE) consists of 7 members who serve rotating 3-year terms. Elections for board members are held each year in May, along with a vote on the budget.

All of the District's schools are located on a 166-acre (0.67 km2) campus, which consists of four buildings surrounded by various athletic fields and playgrounds.
Although the Junior and Senior High Schools are physically the same building, they are considered separate in most other aspects.
The District's 86% graduation rate exceeds the State Standard of 55%. [2]
For the past 12 years, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) has named the Junior High School a New York State high performing school in addition to a "School to Watch". [4] In 2013, the NYSED named the Junior and Senior High Schools "Reward Schools" in the "High Performance" category. 98% of students from the class of 2018 graduated with a Regents Diploma, while 63% earned the higher Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation. In addition, a total of 99 students were inducted into the National Honor Society that same year. [11]

Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is a public school district that serves Montgomery County, Maryland. With 210 schools, it is the largest school district in the state of Maryland. For the 2022–23 school year, the district had about 160,554 students taught by about 13,994 teachers, 86.4 percent of whom had a master's degree or equivalent. MCPS receives nearly half of the county's budget—47% in 2023.
In New York State, Regents Examinations are statewide standardized examinations in core high school subjects. Students are required to pass these exams to earn a Regents Diploma. To graduate, students are required to have earned appropriate credits in a number of specific subjects by passing year-long or half-year courses, after which they must pass at least five examinations. For higher-achieving students, a Regents with Advanced designation and an Honors designation are also offered. There are also local diploma options.

Liverpool High School (LHS) is a comprehensive public high school in Liverpool, New York, northwest of Syracuse in the Liverpool Central School District, serving ninth to twelfth grade students. It is the only high school in the district. LHS generally accepts students graduating from Liverpool Middle School, Soule Road Middle School, Chestnut Hill Middle School, and Morgan Road Middle School. The school is governed under the authority of the New York State Education Department, whose standardized examinations are designed and administered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.
Victor Senior High School is a public high school located in Victor, New York, and is part of the encompassing Victor Central School District. It is a four year high school covering grades 9-12, which regularly receives both national and state recognition for excellence in education. Classes are scheduled into 85-minute block periods and follow New York State standards in curriculum. Victor Senior High School offers students 17 Advanced Placement (AP) courses, International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, dual enrollment courses affiliated with FLCC and RIT, engineering courses that follow the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum, and technical career courses at the Finger Lakes Technical and Career Center (BOCES). On April 20, 2018 it was announced that Assistant Principal Brian Siesto would become the new principal starting in the 2018–2019 school year, as Yvonne O’Shea was to retire. The assistant principals are currently Brian Siesto, Carrie Goodell, and Amy Shannon.
The Frontier Central School District is the primary public school district serving the town of Hamburg, New York. The district serves most of the area surrounding the village of Hamburg and is an independent public entity. With authority from the State of New York, Frontier's seven-member Board of Education governs the district and selects the superintendent. The district's offices are at the Frontier Educational Center in Wanakah.
Mattituck-Cutchogue Union Free School District is a public school district located on the North Fork of Long Island, in Suffolk County, New York, United States.
