Voom HD is a television channel providing high-definition programming from various genres. The network is available in 35 countries in Europe and Asia.

Programming is taken from the various stations owned by Voom HD Networks in the United States and includes Full Frontal Fashion , Earth Diaries and Gamespotting .

A deal between Rainbow Networks and the Stockholm-based company NonStop Television was made in 2006 that allowed NonStop to distribute the channel in Scandinavia, Finland, Iceland and the Baltic states. [1] The channel was launched in Sweden by satellite distributor Canal Digital on November 1. [2] This was soon followed by launched in Denmark, Norway, Finland, Estonia and Latvia on various providers. [3] The channel was managed by Scandinavian television broadcaster NonStop Television, part of Turner Broadcasting System.

In much of the rest of Europe, Africa, the Middle East and parts of Asia the channel was represented by Zonemedia. [4] In April 2007, they launched the channel in the Arab World via the Orbit platform. [5]

Showtime Scandinavia Television channel

Showtime Scandinavia was a television channel broadcasting action movies to the Nordic countries operated by NonStop Television. Its name and logo was licensed by Showtime Networks Inc., owners of the American Showtime. The two channels however do not share any programme content.

Smithsonian Channel is a Canadian pay television channel, owned and operated by Blue Ant Media. Minority partner is Smithsonian Networks, owners of the American channel, Smithsonian Channel, from which the brand is licensed and much of the programming is purchased. The channel broadcasts factual programming on categories such as air and space, science and nature, pop culture, and history.

Voom HD Networks Suite of high-definition TV networks and available in United States and zones from Europe

Voom HD Networks is a suite of 25 original high-definition television channels owned by AMC Networks. The channels were produced in Crystal Clear Hi-Definition with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and were the largest suite of HD channels in the world. As part of a 15-year agreement between AMC Networks and Dish Network.

Silver (TV channel) Television channel

Silver was a movie television channel broadcasting to the Nordic countries broadcasting quality movies, "World cinema" and independent films. The channel was managed by Scandinavian television broadcaster NonStop Television, part of Turner Broadcasting.

NonStop Television was a Scandinavian television company, part of Turner Broadcasting System, packaging and distributing a number of specialty channels, mostly to the Nordic region. The company is a part of Millennium Media Group. The first channel, now a Nordic version of E!, launched in September 2000.

Eurosport 2 is a French sports television network. It is a sister channel to Eurosport 1, which is a division of the Eurosport Network and a unit of Warner Bros. Discovery. Several different versions of the channel exist across Europe, where television rights for sport differ. The Eurosport 2 channel had an audience of 87 million viewers in 2019, an increase in size of one million.

The division oversees the production, broadcasting and promotion of key Paramount's brands outside of the United States. These brands include Paramount Network, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, BET and Colors TV, as well as CBS-branded channels, which are co-owned with AMC Networks International. PIN also owns a 30% stake in the Rainbow S.p.A. animation studio in Italy, as well as a 49% stake in an Indian joint venture with domestic partner TV18, Viacom18.

MTV (Dutch TV channel) Dutch television channel

MTV Nederland and België is a Dutch speaking free-to-cable television channel broadcasting in the Netherlands. It launched as MTV NL on 12 September 2000. Before the start of country-specific channels, the Pan-European version of MTV aired in the Netherlands.

Disney Channel (Polish TV channel) Polish TV channel

Disney Channel is a British-managed Polish cable and satellite television channel, operated by The Walt Disney Company Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and owned from The Walt Disney Company Polska. Also part of Disney Branded Television, which is a subsidiary from The Walt Disney Company.

CBS Reality is a European television channel which is broadcast in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

BBC HD is an international high-definition television channel provided by BBC Studios. In many countries the channel has been replaced by other BBC Studios operations. At present, the channel is only available in selected cruise ships and within the maritime industry.

Eurosport 1 is a French television sports network channel which is a division of Eurosport and a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Discovery. Discovery took a 20% minority interest share in December 2012, and became majority shareholder in the Eurosport venture with TF1 in January 2014, taking a 51% share of the company, On 22 July 2015 Discovery agreed to acquire TF1's remaining 49% stake in the venture.
