Contemporary worship music (CWM), also known as praise and worship music, is a defined genre of Christian music used in contemporary worship. It has developed over the past 60 years and is stylistically similar to pop music. The songs are frequently referred to as "praise songs" or "worship songs" and are typically led by a "worship band" or "praise team", with either a guitarist or pianist leading. Reuben Morgan Australian musician

Reuben Timothy Morgan is an Australian worship pastor at Hillsong Church UK and one of several worship leaders and songwriters in Hillsong Worship group. Prior to this he was a worship pastor at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. He has written songs such as "Eagles Wings", "Hear Our Praises", "I Give You My Heart", "My Redeemer Lives" and "Mighty to Save", which won the Worship Song of the Year at the 40th GMA Dove Awards. In 2005 his first solo worship album, World Through Your Eyes, debuted at No. 3 in the Australian Christian Charts.

Martin W "Marty" Sampson is an Australian contemporary worship singer-songwriter, musician and worship leader at the Hillsong Church in Sydney. From the late 1990s he has featured on the United Live albums and was one of the original Hillsong United band's worship leaders. Sampson's main instrument is the guitar although he also plays the piano, flute and drums. Aside from work for Youth Alive and Hillsong United, Sampson has issued solo albums. In November 2006 he married Michelle and the couple have a son, Phoenix.

Martin James Smith is an English vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, and producer. Smith was the front man of the Christian rock and worship band Delirious?. When Delirious? disbanded in 2009, Smith became a solo artist.

Donald James Moen is an American singer, and a songwriter of Christian worship music.

WOW Worship: Blue was the first album in the WOW Worship series of compilation albums. It reached #70 on the Billboard 200 chart in 1999, and #1 on the Top Contemporary Christian chart. In the following year it reached #144 on the Billboard 200, and #2 on the Top Contemporary Christian chart. The album was certified as double platinum in the United States in 2001 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In Canada the album was certified as platinum in 2002 by the Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA).

Luke Andrew Munns is an Australian musician, known for being the original drummer of Hillsong United, one of multiple worship bands to come out of Sydney's Hillsong Church's youth group. Luke is also a recording producer and songwriter. Luke was a member of Hillsong United from 1999 to 2006 but left to start the rock/indie/folk band LUKAS as lead singer/songwriter. As of October 2020, Munns no longer attends Hillsong Church, and now attends a non-Hillsong affiliated church in Ipswich, Brisbane. Munns was also the drummer for many Hillsong Church albums, and the band Able, which was composed of Marty Sampson, Michael Guy Chislett and Joel Houston, which won the Channel V Leg Up competition in 2001.

"Mighty to Save" is a contemporary worship song by Hillsong Worship from the 2006 album of the same name, Mighty to Save. The song was written by Ben Fielding and Reuben Morgan. The rights to the song are registered for Hillsong Publishing. The song was recorded live on 5 March 2006 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, Sydney, Australia. "Mighty to Save" won the Dove Award for Worship Song of the Year at the Dove Awards in 2009.

Hillsong Worship is an Australian praise and worship group from Sydney, Australia, where they started making music in 1983 at Hillsong Church. Fifteen of their songs have appeared on the Billboard magazine charts in the US, with "What a Beautiful Name" (2016) representing their greatest success, reaching platinum in the US.
