History
The station began broadcasting in 1971 under the WMIC-FM call sign, simulcasting WMIC-AM 1560 (now 660). WMIC-FM separated programming in 1977, switching to a beautiful music format, and adopted the WTGV ("Thumb's Great Voice") call sign two years later. The beautiful music format was updated to a MOR music mix over the years, and then to mainstream adult contemporary by 2000.
WTGV-FM was almost fully automated and voicetracked, except for simulcasts of news and information programming from its sister station WMIC (which are carried solely on WTGV after AM sign-off). The station also features a large amount of sports play-by-play, including the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Lions, and local high-school sports such as basketball and football.
On June 20, 2017 97.7 switched from automated AC to a satellite-fed Classic Hits format branded as "97-7 WTGV." The format, sourced from Local Radio Networks, targets Hits of the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, with a few late '60s hits included. News, sports, and weather remains unchanged.

WRVF carries the syndicated Delilah music and call-in show in the evening. The radio studios and offices are at Superior and Lafayette in Downtown Toledo.

WHLS is an alternative rock radio station licensed to Port Huron, Michigan, with a power output of 1,000 watts, covering much of St. Clair County, Michigan. It is the oldest continuously operating radio station serving St. Clair County. The station is owned by Radio First and broadcasts from studios on Huron Avenue in Downtown Port Huron. Its programming is also simulcasted on FM Translator W288BT, licensed to St. Clair, Michigan at 105.5 MHz, with an effective radiated power of 49 watts.
WMIC is a full service radio station licensed to Sandusky, Michigan with a power output of 1,000 watts. WMIC covers Sanilac County, Michigan and The Thumb area of Michigan. The station is owned by Sanilac/GB Broadcasting and broadcasts from studios on Elk Street in Downtown Sandusky, along with sister stations WTGV and WBGV. Its programming is also simulcasted on FM Translator W237EQ, also licensed to Sandusky at 95.3 MHz, with an effective radiated power of 250 watts.

WJRW – branded as The Ticket – is a commercial sports radio station licensed to Grand Rapids, Michigan, serving the Grand Rapids metropolitan area. Owned by Cumulus Media, WJRW is the Grand Rapids affiliate for the BetQL Audio Network, CBS Sports Radio, and Fox Sports Radio. The WJRW studios and transmitter both reside in Grand Rapids. In addition to a standard analog transmission, the station also simulcasts over low-power FM translator W291DJ and is available online.
WGLM & WGLM-FM are radio stations owned by Packer Radio, owners of radio station WION in nearby Ionia. WGLM is licensed to Greenville and WGLM-FM to Lakeview and broadcasts a full-service mix of music, news and sports. WGLM and WGLM-FM are airing a full-service mix of top-40 music from 1960-2006. The two stations are simulcast full-time. Packer Radio bought the stations from Stafford Broadcasting in October 2008. Stafford owned both stations after acquiring them from Kortes Communications in 2000.
WBGV is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Marlette, Michigan, it first began broadcasting in 1999. It serves the central area of Michigan's Thumb, and parts of the Blue Water Area. It can be heard as far away as Port Huron, Lapeer, Romeo, and Bad Axe.
WQUS is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Lapeer, Michigan, and broadcasting a classic rock radio format. It is owned by Townsquare Media and the home of two local sports teams: the Ontario Hockey League's Flint Firebirds and Lapeer Lightning high school football.
