Waśniewo-Gwoździe [vaɕˈɲevɔ ˈɡvɔʑd͡ʑe] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Janowiec Kościelny, within Nidzica County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. [1]

Gmina Janowiec Kościelny is a rural gmina in Nidzica County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. Its seat is the village of Janowiec Kościelny, which lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Nidzica and 55 km (34 mi) south of the regional capital Olsztyn.

It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998.
