Introducing... The Beatles is the first Beatles album released in the United States. Originally scheduled for a July 1963 release, the LP came out on 10 January 1964, on Vee-Jay Records, ten days before Capitol's Meet the Beatles!. The latter album, however, entered the U.S. album chart one week before the former. Consequently, when Meet The Beatles! peaked at No. 1 for eleven consecutive weeks, Introducing...The Beatles stalled at No. 2 where it remained nine consecutive weeks. It was the subject of much legal wrangling, but ultimately, Vee-Jay was permitted to sell the album until late 1964, by which time it had sold more than 1.3 million copies. On 24 July 2014 the album was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA.

One Take Radio Sessions is a live in-studio EP by British singer-songwriter and guitarist Mark Knopfler, released on 21 June 2005 by Mercury Records internationally and Warner Bros. Records in the United States. The tracks were recorded in one take at Shangri-la Studios in Malibu, California. The EP contains live in-studio versions of seven songs from the 2004 album Shangri-La and one song, "Rüdiger", from the album Golden Heart. This EP is in fact an extended version of The Trawlerman's Song EP, featuring two more tracks and a revised version of the title track.

The EP contains cover versions of three popular holiday songs—"Blue Christmas", "Winter Wonderland" and "Christmas Time Is Here" from A Charlie Brown Christmas—as well as three original tracks. According to Alison Sudol, A Fine Frenzy's leader, the collection of songs was recorded in five days at record producer David Bianco's studio in Los Angeles.

Most of the tracks exclusive to Maybe This Christmas were recorded just a few months prior to its release. Critical reception of the compilation was mixed, with reviewers often complimenting or criticizing select tracks.
