The Wests Tigers Women are an Australian professional rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. The team is part of the Wests Tigers club and plays in the National Rugby League Women's Premiership.
In June 2022, Wests Tigers were accepted into the NRLW for the 2023 Season. [1] [2] Brett Kimmorley was announced as head coach in October 2022. [3] In early April 2023 the club made their first player signing announcement, with the naming of Kezie Apps, Botille Vette-Welsh, and Sarah Togatuki. [4] Wests Tigers Women played their first NRLW competition game in July 2023.

The Newcastle Knights are an Australian professional rugby league team based in Newcastle, New South Wales that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership. Playing in red and blue, the Knights joined the top-tier competition in 1988, 79 years after the previous Newcastle based team, the Newcastle Rebels had departed the Sydney competition with the formation of a separate league competition based in the Newcastle region.
The Tarsha Gale Cup is an elite under-19s Women's rugby league competition in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, Australia. The competition was named after former captain of Australia and current NRLW commentator, Tarsha Gale, in honour of her impact on Women's rugby league as a pioneer of the sport.

The 2023 NRLW Premiership was the sixth professional season of Women's rugby league in Australia. As announced in March 2022 by the governing body, the National Rugby League, the number of teams increased from six to ten.
The duration of the season was confirmed by the NRL in a media release on 14 February 2023 as nine rounds followed by semi-finals and a Grand Final.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Women are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Belmore, a suburb in the Canterbury-Bankstown region of Sydney.
