The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football in Scotland. The term "junior" refers to the level of football played, not the age of the players. The closest equivalent terminology would be non-League football in England, the difference being that junior football in Scotland was not similarly integrated into its football league system until 2021.
The Scottish Junior Football Association, East Region is one of two regions of the SJFA, which currently organises the Midlands League and local cup competitions.

Hermes Junior Football Club are a Scottish football club from Bridge of Don, an area of the city of Aberdeen. Founded in 1968 by pupils of Robert Gordon's College, the club initially played at amateur level before becoming members of the Scottish Junior Football Association in 1993. They currently play in the SJFA North Superleague and their home ground is Lochside Park.
Montrose Roselea Junior Football Club is a Scottish Junior football club based in the town of Montrose, Angus. Hall Russell United Football Club are a Scottish football club based in Bridge of Don, a suburb of Aberdeen. Members of the Scottish Junior Football Association, they currently play in the SJFA North Superleague. Founded in 1968 as an Amateur club, the club joined the SJFA in 1989. Their home ground is Denmore Park and club colours are navy blue.
The 2011–12 Scottish Junior Cup was the 126th season of the Scottish Junior Cup, the national knockout tournament for member clubs of the Scottish Junior Football Association. The competition is sponsored by Emirates and is known as The Emirates Junior Cup for sponsorship purposes.
The Scottish Junior Football North Division One known as the McBookie.com First Division was the second tier of the North Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. Clubs at the end of the season would be promoted to the North Superleague. From 2011, the division comprised two West and East sections running in parallel. Two years later the North Division Two, which clubs had previously been relegated into, was abolished as part of this change. From the 2016–17 season, the runners-up in each section played off for the right to meet the third-bottom club in the North Superleague for an extra promotion/relegation spot.

The Evening Times Champions Cup, the name of the current version, is an association football trophy for clubs of the Junior level in the western part of Scotland. Sponsored by the Glasgow-based newspaper the Evening Times since its inception, the trophy has been competed for since 1896 and has been recommissioned under many different guises throughout its history. It was originally awarded annually as a league championship trophy, but has latterly been contested in a Super Cup style format for winners of various league divisions and local cups in the region.

The 2022–23 North Region Junior Football League was the 21st season of the North Region Junior Football League for SJFA North Region member clubs, and the 2nd season with its top division as part of the sixth tier of the Scottish football pyramid system. The league reverted back to a two-tier setup, featuring a 14-team Premier League and 16-team Championship.
The 2022–23 Scottish Junior Cup known as the Clydebuilt Home Improvements Scottish Junior Cup due to sponsorship reasons, was the 136th season of the Scottish Junior Cup, the national knockout tournament for member clubs of the Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA). A total of 108 clubs entered the competition, two fewer than in 2021–22.
