The album was also made into a video with the same title. It was originally released in 1997 in the Australia region. [2] It was later edited and re-released in 1999 to account for changes made in the TV series and the addition of a "Wiggly Christmas Medley".
As with The Wiggles Movie , the costumes for The Wiggles and friends were updated.[ specify ] It is the first video besides the movie where The Wiggles have logos on their shirts. Producer and Director Dean Covell added "3D animation" to the videos.
The Christmas set was in the background during the taping of the interviews with The Wiggles and Captain Feathersword for The Wiggles Movie Soundtrack Enhance CD bonus track. [3]
In an August 1997 article by The Sun-Herald, the Wiggles planned to release the Christmas video in November, and was going to tour New South Wales and Victoria. [4] The Powerhouse Museum website listed the video as being released in September 1997. [5] However, The Wiggles Exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum Exhibition itself showed a video poster with a video release date of Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas On ABC Video for 13 October 1997. [2]

The video was re-released in 1999 with the removal of "Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer", and the addition of a concert track called "Wiggly Christmas Medley".
In 2018, the 1999 video version was released into multiple segments on their YouTube channel as Classic Wiggles. [6]

Wiggly, Wiggly Christmas is a Wiggles video that was released on 1 November 2017, a partial remake named after the 1997 video of the same name.
The Wiggles are an Australian children's music group formed in Sydney in 1991. As of 2022, the group members are Anthony Field, Lachlan Gillespie, Simon Pryce, Tsehay Hawkins, Evie Ferris, John Pearce, Caterina Mete and Lucia Field. The Wiggles were founded in 1991 by Field, Murray Cook, Jeff Fatt, Greg Page and Phillip Wilcher. Wilcher left the group after their first album. Page retired in 2006 due to ill health and was replaced by understudy Sam Moran, but returned in 2012, replacing Moran. At the end of 2012, Cook, Fatt and Page retired and were replaced by Gillespie, Pryce and Emma Watkins. Cook and Fatt retained their shareholding in the group and all three continued to have input into its creative and production aspects, while engaging in occasional reunion performances. Watkins departed the group in 2021, with the group subsequently adopting an expanded line-up of eight members.
The Wiggles Movie is a 1997 Australian musical film directed by Dean Covell from a screenplay by Greg Truman. Produced by 20th Century Fox and Gladusaurus Productions, it is the first and only feature film starring the Wiggles. The story features amateur magician Wally the Great trying to become a better magician by stealing Greg's magic wand, but is confronted by Dorothy the Dinosaur who believes the Wiggles have forgotten her birthday, while they have actually been planning a surprise party.

The Wiggles characters are a group of characters who perform with the Wiggles, the Australian children's music group.
