Churandy Thomas Martina is a Dutch sprinter. He originally placed second in the 200 metres at the 2008 Beijing Olympics but was later disqualified due to a lane violation. Martina secured four and two individual top-five finishes at the Summer Olympics and World Athletics Championships respectively. He was the 100 metres 2007 Pan American Games champion representing the Netherlands Antilles and claimed three individual titles at the Central American and Caribbean Games. He won gold medals in the 200 m and 100 m at the 2012 and 2016 European Athletics Championships respectively.
Dafne Schippers is a Dutch retired track and field athlete who competed in sprinting and the combined events. She holds the European record in the 200 metres with a time of 21.63 seconds, making her the sixth-fastest woman of all time at this distance. She also holds the Dutch records in the 100 metres and long jump, and shares the Dutch records in the 60 metres indoor and 4 × 100 metres relay.
Crystal Emmanuel is a Canadian sprinter who specialises in the 200 metres. She is the Canadian champion in both the 100m and 200m as of July 2018. Crystal also holds the 200m record for Canada, having broken a record that stood for 34 years. She competed in this event at the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Summer Olympics, but was eliminated in the semi-finals. At the 2013 World Championships in Athletics, she was eliminated in the heats after being disqualified for a lane infringement.
Álex Leonardo Quiñónez Martínez was an Ecuadorian sprinter who competed in the 100 metres and 200 metres. Shot to death in October 2021, he was the second runner to be murdered that month, alongside fellow bronze medalist Agnes Tirop.

Peter Karlsson is a retired Swedish athlete who competed in the sprinting events. He is best known for winning the bronze medal in the 60 metres at the 1996 European Indoor Championships in his native Sweden. In addition, he competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics, as well as 1995 and 1997 World Championships. He is the Swedish record holder in the 100 meter dash with 10.18, as well as co-holder of the indoor 60 meter record of 6.58, together with Patrik Lövgren.

Ján Volko is a Slovak sprinter. He competed in the 60 metres at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships. His biggest successes to date are: the silver medal at the 2017 European Indoor Championships with a new national record of 6.58, the gold medal at the 2019 European Indoor Championships, and the bronze medal at the 2021 European Indoor Championships. Alexander Ogando Bautista is a sprinter from the Dominican Republic. He finished fifth in the 200 metres at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. Ogando won three major medals as part of Dominican mixed 4 × 400 metres relays, including silver at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and gold at the 2022 World Championships.
Letsile Tebogo is a sprinter from Botswana, thus a Motswana. He won the silver medal at the 2023 World Championships in the 100 m and followed it up with a bronze medal in the 200 m 5 days later. Tebogo won the gold medal in the 100 metres and a silver in the 200 metres at both the 2021 and 2022 World Athletics Under-20 Championships. In 2021, Tebogo became the first Botswana athlete to claim the 100m title at any World Championships level. He is the 200m 2022 African champion, becoming the youngest winner of this title in competition history.
