History

Renovations between the 2000 and 2001 season added the Wayne Patrick Press Box, stadium lightning, dugouts, and concessions. [2] In 2008, further renovations added offices, practice facilities, a weight room, a dugout, a players lounge, and a luxury box. [1]

The venue has hosted five Big South Conference Baseball Tournaments, in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, and 2010. Coastal Carolina has won all of them. [3]

Jim Perry Stadium is a baseball stadium in Buies Creek, North Carolina. It is home to the Campbell Fighting Camels baseball team. Previously known as Taylor Field, the venue dates back to the 1940s and Campbell's junior college baseball days. Taylor Field was named for Herbert B. Taylor, a supporter of Campbell University's athletics programs. Following the 2012 season, the field was renamed for Jim Perry, who played baseball and basketball for Campbell from 1956 to 1959. Perry later pitched for 17 seasons in Major League Baseball, earning the 1970 American League Cy Young Award with the Minnesota Twins.

Coastal Carolina Chanticleers

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers are the athletic teams that represent Coastal Carolina University. They participate in Division I of the NCAA as a member of the Sun Belt Conference in most sports, having joined that conference as a full but non-football member on July 1, 2016. At that time, the football team began a transition from the second-level Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) to the top-level Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). The team played the 2016 season as an FCS independent, joined Sun Belt football for the 2017 season, and became full FBS members for 2018 and beyond. A Chanticleer is a proud and fierce rooster. Prior to joining the Sun Belt, the Chanticleers had been members of the Big South Conference since that league's formation in 1983. Coastal fields varsity teams in 20 sports, 9 for men and 11 for women. The university regularly competed for the Sasser Cup, the Big South's trophy for the university with the best sports program among the member institutions, winning the trophy nine times, tied with rival Liberty University.

Clay Gould Ballpark

Clay Gould Ballpark, the home field of the UT Arlington Mavericks, is located on the campus of The University of Texas at Arlington. The stadium has a seat capacity of 1,600. Clay Gould Ballpark is located at the intersection of West Park Row Drive and Fielder Road.

Bobcat Ballpark

Bobcat Ballpark is a baseball venue in San Marcos, Texas on the campus of Texas State University. It is home of the Texas State Bobcats baseball team of the NCAA Division I Sun Belt Conference. It currently holds 2,400 spectators. In 2008, the baseball and softball stadiums were renovated and expanded to its current design. In addition, four luxury suites for up to 12 people were added. The renovations made their debut on March 5, 2009 against the Texas Longhorns with a record setting 2,593 people.
