World's Strongest Team is an annual strongman contest organized by Ultimate Strongman and Strongman Champions League that consists of two men teams (occasionally three) from various countries all over the world. The teams are named according to their ancestral traits and geographical locations.

Contents

The contest was first held in 1995 and during the first two years, it was held with three men per team. From 1997 onwards it was held with two men per team. During mid 2000s, it was assisted by IFSA and in 2021 was taken over and held by Strongman Champions League.

Some of the famous annual events include team deadlifts, team deadlift static holds, super yokes, rock lifts, Atlas stones, stone carries, four-man pole push, tug of war, medley, railway track farmers walk, Basque circle and arm over arm vehicle pull.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson holds 5 titles, Geoff Capes, Riku Kiri, Žydrūnas Savickas each hold 3 titles & Jón Páll Sigmarsson, Jamie Reeves, Manfred Hoeberl, Jouko Ahola, Luke Stoltman each hold 2 titles. As of 2010, the Europe's Strongest Man contest has become a part of the Giants Live season of annual grand prix events. The contest serves as a qualifying event for the World's Strongest Man contest, with the top 3 placings qualifying for that year's WSM contest.

Mark Felix is a Grenadian-English strongman competitor and regular entrant to the World's Strongest Man competition. He has competed at a record 18 World's Strongest Man contests, reaching the finals three times. He is the winner of the 2015 Ultimate Strongman Masters World Championships, 2016 WSF World Cup India and has won several international grip contests, including the Rolling Thunder World Championships in 2008 and 2009, as well as the Vice Grip Viking Challenge in 2011 and 2012.

Brian Shaw is an American retired professional strongman who is widely regarded as one of the greatest strength athletes of all-time. Strength athletics in the United States refers to the various strongman competitions organized throughout United States and North America with the elements of all of strength athletics taken into account. United States has held a preeminent position as a nation due to the enormous success of its competitors on the international stage, who between them have won twelve World's Strongest Man titles and numerous other international strongman competitions. United States has both amateur and a professional sanctioning bodies.

World's Ultimate Strongman was an annual strongman competition which was held from 2018 to 2021 with the participation of top strongmen from all over the world, determining who is the strongest man in the world. The event was noted for its brute-strength-centricity and expanded the sport to a wider audience outside of Europe and USA. It also introduced the 'feats of strength' series in 2020, ensuring the continuous expansion of the sport during the Covid-19 pandemic.
