The song has been widely viewed as sultry trap-infused R&B production, After gaining popularity, she released a remix with American singer, songwriter, and dancer Kehlani on February 14, 2025, which was included on Kwn's second extended play (EP), With All Due Respect released by RCA Records in 2025.
Kwn began working on "Worst Behaviour" in mid-2024 after parting ways with Black Butter Records, an independent British label she had been signed to for several years. She described the song as a statement of creative independence, developed during a period of self-reflection and a redefinition of her sound.
