The Wuling Hongguang EV is the electric version of the Wuling Hongguang and was launched in 2024, selling alongside the gasoline powered second generation Wuling Hongguang. The Hongguang EV is available as either a pure electric variant or a range extended electric variant. [1]

The pure electric Wuling Hongguang EV is powered by a rear positioned electric motor with a maximum power output of 101 hp (75kW) and a peak torque of 180 Nm, and it is equipped with a 32.6 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack. The CLTC pure electric cruising range is 300 km. Under DC fast charging, it takes 30 minutes to charge the battery from 30% to 80%. Under AC slow charging, the charging time from 20% to 100% is 9.8 hours. The top speed is 135 km/h. The range extended electric version has an additional 1.5 liter inline four engine developing a maximum power output of 99 hp (73kW) and a peak torque of 125 Nm. The CLTC pure electric cruising range is 50 km. [2]
