Wyoming Valley West High School is a public high school in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, United States. It is the only public high school in the Wyoming Valley West School District. [1] The school building dates to 1978. With 1,357 students and 85 (on an FTE basis) teachers, Wyoming Valley West High School's student-to-teacher ratio is 15.96:1. [2] The student body is 61% white and 39% non-white. [2]

The school's teams are nicknamed "Spartans" after the ancient Greek city-state. [4] Wyoming Valley West is in PIAA District 2. [5] The Wyoming Valley West field hockey team defeated Palmyra 2-1 in the PIAA Class "AA" Championship. [6] [7]
