Marek Švec is an amateur Greco-Roman wrestler from the Czech Republic. He is a three-time Olympian, and also, a multiple-time medalist at both the World and European Championships. He also won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
Jalmar Leonard Sjöberg is an amateur Swedish Greco-Roman wrestler. He won a silver medal for the super heavyweight division at the 2009 European Wrestling Championships in Vilnius, Lithuania, and two bronze medals at the 2007 European Wrestling Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, and at the 2009 FILA World Championships in Herning, Denmark.
Mihály Deák-Bárdos is a Hungarian amateur Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's super heavyweight category. He is a four-time Olympian, and a six-time medalist at the European Championships. Deák-Bárdos had also won a total of five silver medals at the World Championships, losing out to numerous top-level wrestlers including Alexander Karelin, Rulon Gardner, Khasan Baroyev, and Mijaín López, all of whom were Olympic champions in the same division.
Ildar Hafizov is an Uzbek-American Greco-Roman wrestler of Tatar heritage, who competes in the featherweight category. Before his change of domicile to the United States in 2014, Hafizov represented his native Uzbekistan at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has picked up the silver medal in his respective division at the 2011 Asian Wrestling Championships, coincidentally in his home city Tashkent, losing out to Kyrgyzstan's Arsen Eraliev.

Nikolay Borislavov Gergov is an amateur Bulgarian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's welterweight category. He defeated South Korea's Kim Min-Chul for a gold medal in the 66 kg division at the 2005 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary, in addition to his bronze from the 2007 World Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is also a two-time Olympian, a double European wrestling champion, and a member of Slavia Litex Wrestling Club in Sofia, under his personal coach Bratan Tzenov. Because of his further successes in wrestling, Gergov was selected as one of eleven athletes for the Bulgarian Sports Personality Award in 2007.
Sergey Vladimirovich Kovalenko is an amateur Russian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's welterweight category. He won a bronze medal for the 66 kg division at the 2006 World Wrestling Championships in Guangzhou, China. He is also a two-time medalist at the European Championships, and a member of SKA Saint Petersburg in Saint Petersburg, under his personal coach Grigori Davidyan.
Nataliya Yuryevna Golts is an amateur Russian freestyle wrestler, who played for the women's lightweight category. Since 2002, Golts had won a total of five medals for the 51, 55 and 59 kg classes at the World Wrestling Championships. She is also a five-time European wrestling champion, a silver medalist at the 2010 European Wrestling Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan, and a member of Russian Army Sports Club in Moscow, under her personal coach Omar Murtasaliev.
Mostafa Mohamed is an amateur Egyptian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's featherweight category. Mostafa represented Egypt at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's 55 kg class. He received a bye for the preliminary round of sixteen match, before losing out to Azerbaijan's Rovshan Bayramov, with a technical score of 0–12. Because his opponent advanced further into the final match, Mohamed offered another shot for the bronze medal by entering the repechage bouts. He was defeated in the first round by Cuba's Yagnier Hernández, who was able to score nine points in two straight periods, leaving Mohamed with a single point.
Ashraf Mohamed El-Meligy El-Gharably is an amateur Egyptian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's lightweight category. He is a two-time All-Africa Games gold medalist, a three-time Olympian, and a multiple-time African wrestling champion. He also captured a bronze medal at the 2001 Mediterranean Games in Tunis, Tunisia, and eventually defeated Serbia and Montenegro's Davor Štefanek for the gold at the 2005 Mediterranean Games in Almería, Spain.
Lasha Gogitadze is an amateur Georgian Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's featherweight category. Gogitadze represented Georgia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he competed for the men's 55 kg class. He first defeated China's Jiao Huafeng in the preliminary round of sixteen, before losing out the quarterfinal match to Armenia's Roman Amoyan, with a two-set technical score, and a classification point score of 1–3.
Soner Sucu is an amateur Turkish Greco-Roman wrestler, who competes in the men's lightweight category. He won a bronze medal in his division at the 2009 Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy. Sucu is a member of the wrestling team for Bueyuek Sehir Belediyesi, and is coached and trained by Hakki Basar.
Cha Kwang-Su is an amateur North Korean Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's featherweight category. He won a bronze medal for his division at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar. Cha also added three more medals to his collection from the Asian Wrestling Championships.
Konstantin Schneider is an amateur German Greco-Roman wrestler, who played for the men's middleweight category. He won a silver medal for his division at the 2003 World Wrestling Championships in Créteil, France, and bronze at the 2005 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary. Schneider is also a member of the wrestling team for KSV Köllerbach in Püttlingen, and is coached and trained by his father Heinrich Schneider.

Ernesto Peña Williams is a retired amateur Cuban Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's heavyweight category. He won the gold medal in the 96-kg division at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and was later selected to the Cuban team for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Throughout his sporting career, Pena trained for the wrestling team at Cerro Pelado Sports Club in Havana, under his personal coach and mentor Carlos Ulacia.
Luis Fernando Izquierdo Martínez is a retired amateur Colombian Greco-Roman wrestler, who competed in the men's welterweight category. He has claimed two bronze medals in the 69 and 66-kg division at the Pan American Games, and also represented Colombia at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Izquierdo is also a member of Jaime Lozada Wrestling Club in his native Cali, under his personal coach and father Jesus Benito Izquierdo.
