Taos is a town in Taos County in the north-central region of New Mexico in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Initially founded in 1615, it was intermittently occupied until its formal establishment in 1795 by Nuevo México Governor Fernando Chacón to act as fortified plaza and trading outpost for the neighboring Native American Taos Pueblo and Hispano communities, including Ranchos de Taos, Cañon, Taos Canyon, Ranchitos, El Prado, and Arroyo Seco. The town was incorporated in 1934. As of the 2010 census, its population was 5,716.
Avery County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. As of the 2010 census, the population was 17,797. The county seat is Newland. The county seat was initially established in Elk Park when the county was first formed, but was moved to Newland upon completion of the courthouse in 1912. Founded in 1911, it is the youngest of North Carolina's 100 counties.

Drumlin Heights Consolidated School (DHCS) is a school located in Glenwood, Nova Scotia, Canada. Drumlin Heights is part of the Tri-County Regional School Board and is the only English high school in the municipality of Argyle. There was a contest held among students of the surrounding area to decide the name of the new school while it was being built. The winning name was submitted by Argyle student Jesse Malone, citing the regions landscape as the inspiration for the new title.
