Zangeneh-ye Sofla (Persian : زنگنه سفلي‎, also Romanized as Zangeneh-ye Soflá; also known as Zangeneh and Zangeneh-ye Pā’īn)^[1] is a village in Kamazan-e Olya Rural District, Zand District, Malayer County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 366, in 102 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kamazan-e Olya Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Zand District, Malayer County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,434, in 1,129 families. The rural district has 11 villages.
