Zhuyehai Station (Chinese :竹叶海站), is a station of Line 1 of Wuhan Metro. It opened on September 17, 2014. [1] It is located in Qiaokou District. [2]

Simplified Chinese characters standardized Chinese characters developed in mainland China

Simplified Chinese characters are standardized Chinese characters prescribed in the Table of General Standard Chinese Characters for use in mainland China. Along with traditional Chinese characters, they are one of the two standard character sets of the contemporary Chinese written language. The government of the People's Republic of China in mainland China has promoted them for use in printing since the 1950s and 1960s to encourage literacy. They are officially used in the People's Republic of China and Singapore.

Wuhan Metro

The Wuhan Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Wuhan, Hubei, operated by the Wuhan Metro Co., Ltd. The system began operation on July 28, 2004 with the completion of a ten-station long elevated line between Huangpu Road and Zongguan, making Wuhan the fifth city in mainland China to have a metro system after Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Line 1 is the first metro line in China to have been wrongly referred to as a light rail system in Chinese terminology. As of February 2019, there are nine lines in operation, totaling 216 stations and 318 kilometres (198 mi) of system length. The daily ridership of Wuhan Metro ranges from 2,200,000 to 2,800,000.

Qiaokou District District in Hubei, Peoples Republic of China

Qiaokou District forms part of the urban core of and is one of 13 districts of Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, People's Republic of China, situated on the northern (left) bank of the Han River. Along with Dongxihu, it is the only district of Wuhan to not have any shoreline along the Yangtze River, and it borders Dongxihu to the north, Jianghan to the east, and Hanyang to the south across the Han River. 'Qiaokou' is used as an example of the usage of the rarely-used character 礄/硚 in the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary. It is said that the character 'qiao' refers to stone bridges constructed over the Han River in the Late Qing.

Line 5 (Shanghai Metro) metro line of the Shanghai Metro

Line 5 is a southern line of the Shanghai Metro network. It was opened on November 25, 2003 and despite its name was the fourth line to open. It is a light metro line. Alongside Line 6 it is often erroneously referred to as a 'light rail' line. The line connects the southernmost station of Line 1, Xinzhuang with the Minhang Development Zone in Minhang and Fengxian Xincheng in Fengxian, both in the suburbs of Shanghai. The line is colored violet on system maps.

Line 11 (Shanghai Metro) line of Shanghai Metro

Line 11 is a northwest-southeast line of the Shanghai Metro network. Since October 2013 Line 11 serves Kunshan city, making it is the second intercity metro in China after the Guangfo Metro and the first that crosses a provincial boundary. Services run at 5-minute intervals from either Huaqiao or North Jiading to Disney Resort. The line is colored brown on system maps.

Line 18 is a Shanghai Metro line that has been under construction since May 12, 2016 with an expected completion date in 2020. The planned 44.6 km (27.7 mi) line with 30 stations will start from Changbei Road, Baoshan District, via Longyang Road to Hangtou Town, Pudong District. Line 18 will feature transfer points to lines 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 16. The first phase will be 36.13 km (22.45 mi) long and run from South Changjiang Road station to Hangtou with 26 stations. The second phase is planned to extend the line northwest 7 km (4.3 mi) and add five new stations. Proposals to extend the line further west are under consideration.

Line 16 (Shanghai Metro) metro line of the Shanghai Metro

Line 16 is a rapid transit line serving the south-eastern suburban areas of Shanghai. The line is colored aqua on system maps. It was originally designated as Line 21 and was planned as the south part of Line 11. The line runs entirely in Pudong New Area, starting from Longyang Road, via Shanghai Wild Animal Park, Huinan Town, ending at Dishui Lake in Nanhui New City. The line is 59 km (37 mi) long and has 13 stations of which three are underground and the rest elevated. Construction begun in early 2009, and the line opened on 29 December 2013. The second phase was completed at the end of 2014, providing interchanges to Lines 2, 7, 11, 13 and 18.

Shunde College railway station, or New City Area Station, Shunde University Station, is an elevated station of Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity Mass Rapid Transit.

Guiyang Metro

Guiyang Metro is a metro system in the city of Guiyang, Guizhou province in China operated and branded as Guiyang Urban Rail Transit (GYURT). A short northern section of Line 1 opened on 28 December 2017, with the full line entering operation on 1 December 2018. Line 2 is due to open at the end of 2020 and Line 3 in 2022 or 2023. Line 4 and also lines G1, S1, S2 and S3 are in the planning stage.

Line 1 (Wuhan Metro) line of Wuhan Metro

The Line 1 of Wuhan Metro is an elevated metro line in the city of Wuhan, Hubei. It is the longest continuous metro viaduct in the world. Line 1 opened on 28 July 2004, making Wuhan the fifth city in mainland China to have a metro system after Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou. This is the first Metro line in China wrongly referred to as a light rail line in Chinese terminology because it is elevated. Originally a branch line was planned to cross the Yangtze to Wuchang District via the Second Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge. The Second Wuhan River Bridge even had a provision in the central median where Line 1 trains would run in anticipation for the branch line when it opened in 1995. However by 2003 the reservation was removed to allow for more traffic lanes when the bridge was undergoing renovation.

Donghai Road Station, also known as Donghailu Station, is a station of Line 9 of the Tianjin Metro. It started operations on 28 March 2004.

The Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region Intercity Railway System is a regional higher-speed rail and commuter rail network being gradually constructed in the Pearl River Delta, People's Republic of China. The project's goal is to have every major urban center in the Yuegang'ao Greater Bay Area to be within one-hour travel by rail to Guangzhou. On March 16, 2005, the State Council examined and approved plans for a regional high-speed commuter rail network for the Jingjinji, Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. According to the plan, by 2020, PRD MAIR network will have a total route mileage of about 600 kilometres (370 mi). In September 2009, the plan was expanded to 1,478 km (918 mi) of routes split up into 23 lines. In the long term vision network length will reach 1,890 km (1,170 mi) by 2030. By then the network will provide basic coverage to the Pearl River Delta region.

Shijiazhuang Metro is a rapid transit system in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province, China.

Xiamen Metro officially branded as AMTR, is a rapid transit system serving Xiamen, Fujian, China. Line 1 of Xiamen metro began operation on 31 December 2017 with trial runs on 6–11 October 2017.

Taipingyang station

Taipingyang Station, or literally Pacific Station, is a station of Line 1 of Wuhan Metro. It entered revenue service on April 8, 2006. It is located in Qiaokou District.

Zongguan station

Zongguan Station is a station of Line 1 of Wuhan Metro. It entered revenue service with the completion of Line 1, Phase 1 on July 28, 2004. It is located in Qiaokou District. The station has an island platform and a single-track crossover on the west end of the station. The station served as the terminus of Line 1 from 2004 to 2010. The Line 3's station will operate on December 28, 2015.

Jinshan Avenue Station, is the planned terminus of Line 1 of Wuhan Metro. It is located in Dongxihu District.

Tengzigang Station, is a station of Line 1 of Wuhan Metro. It entered revenue service on May 28, 2014. It is located in Jiang'an District.

Shekouxincheng Station, is a station of Line 1 of Wuhan Metro. It entered revenue service on May 28, 2014. It is located in Jiang'an District.

Hankou North Station, is a current terminus of Line 1 of Wuhan Metro. It entered revenue service on May 28, 2014. It is located in Huangpi District.
