Zyras rudis is a species of rove beetle in the family Staphylinidae. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] It is endemic to the United States [2] [6] [7] with records from Washington, D.C. (its type locality) [1] [7] and Arizona. [3]

Adults measure 5–5.5 mm (0.20–0.22 in) in length. [1]
