The 2014 New Mexico House of Representatives elections took place as part of the biennial United States elections. New Mexico voters elected state representatives in all 70 of the state house's districts. State representatives serve two-year terms in the New Mexico House of Representatives. The election coincided with elections for other offices, including for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, Governor, and Attorney General. [1] A primary election held on June 3, 2014, determined which candidates appear on the November 8th general election ballot.

Prior to this pause, several candidates had already filed to run The elections will be held under new districts passed by the General Assembly in House Bill 976 to account for population changes following the 2020 census. The maps were later overturned by the North Carolina Supreme Court, who ordered the legislature to draw new maps. Candidate filing resumed on February 24, 2022 and concluded on March 4, 2022.
