Priya Amar Priya is a 2008 Bangladeshi romantic-action film. The film directed by Badiul Alam Khokon and produced by Monir Hossain under the banner of Asha Production. The story of the film is written and screenplay by Puri Jagannadh and the dialogue is written by Sachin Nag based on the pre-made film. The film revolve around a careless college student Hridoy who fall in love with city's commissioner sister Priya. Things take a turn when he begins to have feelings for her. Misha Sawdagor, Prabir Mitra, Rehana Jolly and Afzal Sharif played supporting roles in the film.

Montazur Rahman Akbar is a Bangladeshi film director, screenwriter, producer, social activist and entrepreneur. He is known for his work in the Bengali-language film industry, which is centered in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Akbar also fought in the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.

And also the highest grossing film of Khan's career until it was surpassed by his 2023 all-time blockbuster Priyotoma. He is popularly known in the media as "King Khan" and "King of Dhallywood", also referred as "Number One Shakib Khan". Currently he is the highest paid actor in Bangladesh.

<i>Casino</i> (2023 film) Bangladeshi film directed by Shaikat Nasir

Casino is an Bangladeshi crime thriller action film directed by Saikat Nasir, produced by Rajib Sarwar and distributed by Cimplex International Company, the first production for the company. It will star Nirab, Shabnom Bubly and Taskeen Rahman. Abdullah Zahir Babu and Asad Jaman co-writes the screenplay. This is Bubly's first movie without starring Shakib Khan. Principal photography of the film begun on 24 November 2019. The film was scheduled to release in summer 2020, but the release was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Din–The Day is a 2022 Bangladeshi–Iranian joint produced action film directed by Morteza Atashzamzam and produced by Ananta Jalil under his production banner Monsoon Films. The film features Ananta Jalil and Afiea Nusrat Barsha in lead roles.

<i>Rupsha Nodir Banke</i> 2020 Bangladeshi film

Rupsha Nodir Banke is a 2020 Bangladeshi biographical full-length film. This Bangladesh government-funded film is written and directed by Ekushey Padak-winning filmmaker Tanvir Mokammel. The main thrust of the film is the involvement of events in the historical life of a supporter of left-wing politics at different ages. In the political biography of the main character of the film called Manabratan Mukhopadhyay, various historical events that happened in Bangladesh from 1930 to 1971 are presented. Khairul Alam Sabuj, Tawsif Saadman Turjo and Zahid Hasan Sobhan have acted according to the age of Manabratan Mukhopadhyay.

Mohammad Ashraful Haque is a Bangladeshi film actor. He usually plays supporting character as an antagonist. He made his on-screen debut in the film Love (1991) directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan, but his first release was Keyamot Theke Keyamot in 1993, which was also directed by Sohanur Rahman Sohan. Don has acted more than 650 films in his career of more than two decades. In 2023 he performed in Priyotoma, which is the highest grossing Bangladesh film of all-time.
