Kiriko Hayama, known professionally as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, is a Japanese tarento, singer, and model. Her public image is associated with Japan's kawaii and decora culture, centered in the Harajuku neighborhood of Tokyo. Kyary's music is produced by musician Yasutaka Nakata of electronic music duo Capsule.
"PonPonPon" is a song and debut single by Japanese singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. It was released as the lead single for her EP, Moshi Moshi Harajuku, and later included on her debut album, Pamyu Pamyu Revolution. The song was written and produced by Yasutaka Nakata of Capsule. The music video, a psychedelic tribute to Kawaii and Decora culture, was released to YouTube on July 16, 2011, and became a viral hit. On 27 July 2012, a limited edition of a 7' LP with Side A: PONPONPON -extended mix- and Side B: Cherry Bon Bon -extended mix- was released exclusively for DJs.

On April 19, 2014, limited editions of a 7' LP were released with A side: Ninja Re Bang Bang-extended mix-, exclusive for DJs.

The song is used in a commercial for the Japanese room rental app Chintai while the B-Side "Slowmo" is used for Meganetop's ALOOK budget glasses commercials. The music video of the song was released on February 19, 2014.
Tempura Kidz was a Japanese pop dance and vocals group formed by four girls and one boy managed by Asobi System and signed with the Sony Music Japan label. They started their career as back-up dancers for Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and have toured with her since late 2011. Their songs are produced by Ram Rider. The group debuted on November 13, 2012 with the music video for their first song "Cider Cider", which was produced by Ram Rider. In January 2013, they released their first digital single "Strobe", used as ending theme song for the anime Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter. Two months later, on March 6, Tempura Kidz made their physical debut with the release of their first single "One Step" produced by Nishi-ken. On March 26, 2018, member Nanaho graduated from Tempura Kidz. Tempura Kidz continued to perform as a four-person group until the graduation of Yu-ka, P→★ and Ao in March 2021.
"Family Party" is the ninth physical single by Japanese singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. It was released on April 16, 2014, in both regular and limited editions. The A-side is used as the official ending song for the film Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Gachinko! Gyakushu no Robo To-chan. The music video was released on April 8, 2014.
Pika Pika Fantajin is the third studio album by Japanese singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, officially released on July 9, 2014. The album's official title is a portmanteau of the words "fantasy" and "person" (jin), as officially referenced to the album covers. The songs "Slowmo", from single "Yume no Hajima Ring Ring", and "Scanty Skimpy", from single "Family Party", were not included in the final track listing. Rhino Entertainment/Warner released the Vinyl LP Picture Disc version on January 13, 2015 in the USA. "Kira Kira Killer" and "Koi Koi Koi" were used in the soundtrack for the 2016 motion picture Sing.

Released in both CD and digital editions, the single contains the A-side song "Mondai Girl" along with three B-side tracks. The single's title is a pun, coming from the phrase "mondai ga aru", literally "there is a problem".

Released on January 30, 2013 as a double A-side single along with the song "Kimi ni 100 Percent", the song was themed around the Japanese Coming of Age Day and the Coming of Age Ceremony, and celebrated Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's own coming of age.
