Nicolai Abraham Abildgaard was a Danish neoclassical and royal history painter, sculptor, architect, and professor of painting, mythology, and anatomy at the New Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen, Denmark. Many of his works were in the royal Christiansborg Palace, Fredensborg Palace, and Levetzau Palace at Amalienborg.

Kong Christian stod ved højen mast, commonly shortened to Kong Christian, is the unofficial royal anthem of the Kingdom of Denmark that officially has equal status of national anthem together with Der er et yndigt land, though it is almost exclusively used in relation to the Danish royal house and the military. The theme of the song is about the heroics of Danish and Norwegian sailors during the wars against Sweden in the 17th and 18th centuries.

Christian Ferdinand Andreas Mølsted was a Danish artist who specialized in marine painting. He is best known for his painting of the frigate Niels Juel during the Battle of Heligoland on 9 May 1864.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Barchmann Mansion</span>

Barchmann Mansion is a Baroque style town mansion overlooking Frederiksholm Canal in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Built in the early 1740s to designs by Philip de Lange, it is also known as the Wedell Mansion after the current owner. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1918. An extension from 1748 is now home to Johan Borup's Folk High School.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Rønnebæksholm</span> Building in Næstved Municipality, Denmark

Rønnebæksholm is a former manor house located just outside Næstved in south-eastern Denmark. The estate covers 230.5 hectares of land. It was acquired by Næstved Municipality in 1998 and is now run as a cultural centre, hosting a wide range of cultural events, both indoor and outdoor, including art exhibitions, concerts, talks and theatrical performances.

Edelgave is a manor house situated just southwest of Smørumnedre, Egedal Municipality, 20 km northwest of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The current main building was designed by Andreas Kirkerup and is listed.

Jens Juel was a Danish estate owner, chamberlain and Member of the Royal Hunt. He was from 1938 the owner of Petersgaard at Vordingborg, including the vast Pedersgaard Forest District. He was a board member of the Danish Forrest Association (1959–1965). He served as director both of Den Suhrske Stiftelse (1940–1962) and of Det Classenske Fideicommis (1948–1974).
