The Napoleonic era is a period in the history of France and Europe. It is generally classified as including the fourth and final stage of the French Revolution, the first being the National Assembly, the second being the Legislative Assembly, and the third being the Directory. The Napoleonic era begins roughly with Napoleon Bonaparte's coup d'état, overthrowing the Directory, establishing the French Consulate, and ends during the Hundred Days and his defeat at the Battle of Waterloo. The Congress of Vienna soon set out to restore Europe to pre-French Revolution days. Napoleon brought political stability to a land torn by revolution and war. He made peace with the Roman Catholic Church and reversed the most radical religious policies of the Convention. In 1804 Napoleon promulgated the Civil Code, a revised body of civil law, which also helped stabilize French society. The Civil Code affirmed the political and legal equality of all adult men and established a merit-based society in which individuals advanced in education and employment because of talent rather than birth or social standing. The Civil Code confirmed many of the moderate revolutionary policies of the National Assembly but retracted measures passed by the more radical Convention. The code restored patriarchal authority in the family, for example, by making women and children subservient to male heads of households.
Club Cerro Porteño is a professional Paraguayan football club, based in the neighbourhood of Obrero in Asunción. Founded in 1912, Cerro has won 33 Primera División titles and is one of the most popular football clubs in Paraguay. Its president is Raúl Zapag, from Paraguay, and the manager is Francisco Arce. Its main rivals are Olimpia and Libertad.
The Army of the North or Armée du Nord is a name given to several historical units of the French Army. The first was one of the French Revolutionary Armies that fought with distinction against the First Coalition from 1792 to 1795. Others existed during the Peninsular War, the Hundred Days and the Franco-Prussian War.
Prince Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha was a German prince of the House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and a general of cavalry in the Austrian Imperial and Royal Army during the Napoleonic Wars. Despite remaining a Lutheran, by marriage he established the Catholic branch of the family, which eventually gained the thrones of Portugal (1837) and Bulgaria (1887).
The 77th Regiment of Foot was a line regiment of the British Army, raised in 1787. Under the Childers Reforms it amalgamated with the 57th Regiment of Foot to form the Duke of Cambridge's Own in 1881.

Sky Tonia Ferreira is an American singer, songwriter, model, and actress. As a teenager, Ferreira began uploading videos on Myspace of herself singing songs she had written, which led to her discovery by producers Bloodshy & Avant and an eventual recording contract with Parlophone in 2009. She released her first extended play, As If!, in 2011, which combined elements of electropop and dance music. Ferreira's second extended play Ghost (2012), however, incorporated pop with more stripped-down song structures and featured collaborations with Jon Brion and Shirley Manson, as well as the critically acclaimed track "Everything Is Embarrassing", which she composed with Dev Hynes.

Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, often referred to in Portugal as "Ferreirinha", was a Portuguese businesswoman. She is known for leadership in the cultivation of port wine and for the winemaking innovations she introduced to Portugal.

Jaqueline Antonia Ferreira is a Brazilian weightlifter who competes in the −75 kg weight division. She placed eighth at the 2012 Olympics and qualified for the 2016 Rio Games. She won a silver medal in clean and jerk and a bronze in snatch at the 2014 Pan American Sports Festival. She also won a bronze medal at the 2015 Pan American Games.
The 2013–14 Primeira Liga was the 80th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. It began on 18 August 2013 and concluded on 11 May 2014. Sixteen teams contested the league, fourteen of which took part in the previous season and two of which were promoted from the Segunda Liga. On 20 April 2014, Benfica won the Primeira Liga for a record 33rd time with a 2–0 victory over Olhanense, with two matches to spare.

The Portrait of Doña Antonia Zárate is an 1810–1811 painting of the actress Antonia Zárate by Francisco Goya or his studio. It is now in the Hermitage Museum, and if it is an autograph work, it is the only painting by Goya in a Russian collection.
Antonia Nava de Catalán was a heroine of the Mexican War of Independence. She accompanied her husband, a volunteer who rose to the rank of colonel, throughout the war. Three of her sons were killed in the struggle. She is remembered for her willingness to sacrifice her family and herself to achieve independence from Spain, and came to be known as "La Generala". She fought alongside Jose Maria Moreles until her death.
