<i>Spirou et laventure</i>

Spirou et l'aventure, written and drawn by Jijé, is the first published album containing Spirou et Fantasio adventures. The 6 featured stories were produced during and after World War II, and serialised in the Franco-Belgian comics magazine Le journal de Spirou during this unusual period. They were assembled and published as a hardcover album in 1948 and feature the first appearances of Fantasio.

Joseph Gillain, better known by his pen name Jijé, was a Belgian comics artist, best known for being a seminal artist on the Spirou et Fantasio strip and the creator of one of the first major European western strips, Jerry Spring.

Éditions Dupuis S.A. is a Belgian publisher of comic albums and magazines.

Stanley Link was an American cartoonist and comics artists, best known for Tiny Tim.

Dudley Dexter Watkins was an English cartoonist and illustrator. He is best known for his characters Oor Wullie and The Broons; comic strips featuring them have appeared in Scottish newspaper The Sunday Post since 1936, along with annual compilations. Watkins also illustrated for comics such as The Beano, The Dandy, The Beezer and Topper, and provided illustrations for Christian stories.

Timely Comics is the common name for the group of corporations that was the earliest comic book arm of American publisher Martin Goodman, and the entity that would evolve by the 1960s to become Marvel Comics.

Marvel Mystery Comics is an American comic book series published during the 1930s–1940s period known to fans and historians as the Golden Age of Comic Books. It was the first publication of Marvel Comics' predecessor, Timely Comics, a division of Timely Publications.

<i>LHumanité</i> French newspaper

L'Humanité, is a French daily newspaper. It was an organ of the French Communist Party, and maintains links to the party. Its slogan is "In an ideal world, L'Humanité would not exist."

José Cabrero Arnal or C. Arnal (September 6, 1909 in was a Spanish comics artist, who nevertheless worked in France for most of his career and was naturalized as French citizen. He is most famous for the comics series Pif le chien and Placid et Muzo.

Pif et Hercule is a French comic strip titled featuring an anthropomorphic brown-yellow dog ("Pif") and a black-white cat ("Hercule") who, despite being best friends, are constantly fighting in a friendship/hate relationship. The character of Pif was created by José Cabrero Arnal for the French Communist Party newspaper L'Humanité on 28 March 1948 and the cat Hercule was introduced two years later. The characters' nemesis is Krapulax, who despite his infant-like features always has a diabolical plot in store.

<i>Pantera Bionda</i>

Pantera Bionda was an Italian comics series, launched on 24 April 1948. It featured Pantera Bionda, a jungle girl inspired by American characters such as Sheena and Nyoka, and was created by writer Gian Giacomo Dalmasso and artist Ingam. The series was published by Giurma, first with biweekly and then weekly periodicity.

Crimefighters is a 1981 TSR pulp-themed tabletop role-playing game created by game designer David Cook. Crimefighters was originally released in issue 47 of the March 1981 edition of Dragon magazine.
