January 15: U.S. editorial cartoonist and comic artist Darrin Bell is arrested under suspicion of having uploaded and possessed child pornography, including of real children and AI-generated children. April 23: A day after Pope Francis passes away, Patrick J. Marrin concludes his celebrity comicFrancis about Pope Francis, which he had drawn since the first year of Francis' papacy in 2013.
