The 1980–81 Beta Ethniki season was 22nd edition of second tier nationwide championship of Greece. [1] Forty teams participated in the league, divided in two groups, the South and the North Group. Iraklis was named champion of the North Group and got promoted to the Alpha Ethniki. In the South Group Egaleo and Rodos tied and a play-off match, that found Rodos victorious by a 1-0 scoreline, decided the team that was named champion of the South Group and got promoted to the Alpha Ethniki.

On the other hand, Pelopas Kiato, Olympiakos Neon Liosion, AO Patra and Panarkadikos got relegated to the C National Amateur Division from the South Group. Pandramaikos, Edessaikos, PO Elassona and Odysseas Kordeliou were the teams that got relegated from the North Group.

The 2003–04 Alpha Ethniki was the 68th season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 23 August 2003 and ended on 22 May 2004. Panathinaikos won their 19th Greek title and their first one in eight years.

The 1967–68 Alpha Ethniki was the 32nd season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 8 October 1967 and ended on 10 June 1968. The third promotion ticket was gained by Anagennisi Karditsa, second-placed in North Group, after the win against Ilioupoli, second-placed in South, to the single play-off match which was held on June 14, 2008, at Georgios Kamaras Stadium.

It started on September 14, 2008 and finished on May 3, 2009. 36 teams contest the league, divided into two groups of 18 clubs each, using certain geographical criteria. 23 of the participant clubs have contested in the 2007-08 season, 3 of them have been relegated from Beta Ethniki, while 10 of them have been promoted from Delta Ethniki. Last season's champions of North Group were Kavala, and Diagoras of South Group.

The 2020–21 Football League Greece was the second season as a third-tier professional league of the Greek football league system since its restructuring and the tenth season under the name Football League after previously being known as Beta Ethniki. That was the first season after 2014–15 that the league has more than one groups. The groups are created based on geographical criteria. That was the last season of the league before their abolishment and a merger with Super League Greece 2, as a result of a new restructuring of the Greek league system. The 2020-21 season start has been delayed due to the COVID-19 second lockdown in Greece that began in November 2020.

The 2003–04 Gamma Ethniki was the 21st season since the official establishment of the third tier of Greek football in 1983. Kastoria was crowned champion, thus winning promotion to Beta Ethniki. AEL also won promotion as a runner-up, and Ilisiakos was also promoted after defeating PAS Giannina 3-1 in a single play-off match at Pyrgos Stadium between the 14th placed team of Beta Ethniki and the 3rd placed team of Gamma Ethniki.

Atromitos and Makedonikos were crowned champions in Southern and Northern Group respectively, thus winning promotion to Beta Ethniki. Rethymniakos and Niki Volos also won promotion as a runners-up of the groups.
