The Ukrainian Cup is an association football national knockout cup competition run by the Ukrainian Association of Football. The competition is conducted almost exclusively among professional clubs. Since the 2003–04 season, the Cup winner qualifies to play the Ukrainian Premier League winner for the Ukrainian Super Cup.
Like the championship, the first edition of the Cup had a tight schedule as the Football Federation of Ukraine was given just several months in order to switch to the European seasonal format with the minimum required matches played.
The 1992–93 Ukrainian Cup was the second edition of the Ukrainian Cup competition. It started on July 26, 1992, with a Podillya face-off and concluded with the final on May 30, 1993. The main highlights of this season's edition was a successful play of FC Khimik Sieverodonetsk who made to the quarterfinals at expense of FC Shakhtar Donetsk, defeating them at the first stage of the Cup competition. Another sensation was the defeat of the defending champions FC Chornomorets Odesa from their city-mates SC Odesa in the first round of the competition as well. Once again teams FC Torpedo Zaporizhzhia and FC Metalist Kharkiv made to the semifinals.
The 1993–94 Ukrainian Cup was the third annual edition of Ukraine's football knockout competition, known as the Ukrainian Cup.
The 1999–2000 Ukrainian Second League is the ninth season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The competitions are divided into three groups – A, B, and C.
The 1996–97 Ukrainian Cup is the sixth annual edition of Ukraine's football knockout competition, known as the Ukrainian Cup.
The 2000–01 Ukrainian Second League was the tenth season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine.
The 2001–02 Ukrainian Second League was the 11th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine.
The 2003–04 Ukrainian Second League was the 13th season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine.
The 2005–06 Ukrainian Cup is the 15th annual edition of Ukraine's football knockout competition, known as the Ukrainian Cup. The winner of this competition was Dynamo Kyiv.
The 2014–15 Ukrainian Cup is the 24th annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition. The decision on a schedule of competitions for clubs of the First and Second League and amateur leagues composition was confirmed on 23 July 2014 at a session of Central Council of the Professional Football League of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian Cup 1990 was the 25th edition of the Ukrainian SSR football knockout competition, known as the Ukrainian Cup. The competition started on May 11, 1990, and its final took place on October 28, 1990. It was the first edition of the tournament since it was discontinued back in 1976. The last year cup holder SKA Kiev was knocked out of the competition by Mayak Kharkiv already in the second round.
The 1991 season was the 61st season of competitive football in Ukraine which was a union republic within the Soviet Union. Teams from Ukraine competed in two types of competitions All-Union and republican.
After being expelled from Ukrainian Premier League Karpaty were admitted to Ukrainian Second League for the 2020–21 season. It was their 1st season on the 3rd tier of Ukrainian football.
The 2021–22 Ukrainian Cup was the 31st annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition. The competition started on 4 August 2021 and was expected to be concluded on 11 May 2022 with the final. The Ukrainian Association of Football announced that the new competition sponsor is a betting company VBet, same as for the Ukrainian Premier League. Dynamo Kyiv were the two-time defending winners.
The 2023–24 Ukrainian Cup was the 32nd annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition. The competition is planned to start on 29 July 2023 and be concluded on 15 May 2024 with the final. The competition has been resumed after being paused for a season due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and an attempt to resume league competitions. In the fall of the last year (2022), there was information about possibility of resuming cup competitions in the spring (2023), but the idea was never realized.
The 2024–25 Ukrainian Cup is the 33rd annual season of Ukraine's football knockout competition. The competition started on 3 August 2024 and will be concluded on 14 May 2025 with the final. Champions qualify for the Second qualifying round 2025-26 UEFA Europa League.
