The 1992 NASCAR Winston West Series was the 39th season of the series. The title was won by Bill Sedgwick, [1] his second in the series and second in succession.
The 1992 season included 11 individual races, although Mesa Marin Raceway hosted two races. [2] The races at Sears Point International Raceway and Phoenix International Raceway were in combination with the NASCAR Winston Cup Series, [3] [4] and the race at Texas World Speedway was in combination with the ARCA SuperCar Series. [5]
The Vons 300 was held on May 17 at Mesa Marin Raceway. Gary Collins won the pole with a track record, although due to injury he was replaced by Dirk Stephens.

The Alpha Beta 200 was held on May 30 at Saugus Speedway. Ron Hornaday Jr. won the pole.
