The 1994 European Karate Championships , the 29th edition, was held in the sports complex of the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England from May 2 to 4, 1994. [1] [2]

He won bronze medals at the WKF World Championships in karate in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2014, and 2016 in the men's individual kata. He has also won 23 Pan American Karate Federation Senior Championships Medals 23 times to date.

The European Karate Championships are organised by the European Karate Federation each year.

Enrique Nicanor is a film and TV producer/director, writer and designer best known for his works for public service broadcasting as Director of TVE-2, the Spanish Public TV and the creation of Caponata and Perezgil, the Spanish muppets of Sesame Street. He began as a designer and film animation Director in Cuba (1959). Based in Paris (1965) and Spain (1967) he was board member and President of INPUT-TV, The International Public TV Conference and Film trainer at EAVE, The European Producers' workshop and the European Commission Learning Network. Cayetano Hilario Abellán was a Spanish self-taught sculptor who produced sculptures based on different themes. His work is known because of his group of characters from the Miguel de Cervantes' well known novel Don Quixote, among others.

The 1970 Peru–Ecuador earthquake occurred on December 9 at 23:34 local time. The epicenter was located in northwestern Peru, between Piura and Tumbes, near the Peru–Ecuador border. This earthquake had a magnitude of Mw 7.1, or Ms 7.1. About 81 people were reported dead in Peru and in Ecuador together. Liquefaction was observed. The maximum Mercalli Intensity reached IX (Violent). Fractures in constructions were reported in the urban area of Talara. This was a shallow earthquake, and it was thought to occur in the plate above the plate boundary.
