1996 Taiwan National Assembly election

National Assembly elections were held in the Republic of China on 23 March 1996, the first direct presidential election was also held on the same day. [1] The result was a victory for the Kuomintang, which won 183 of the 334 seats. Voter turnout was 76.2%.

2022 United States elections

The 2022 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, in the middle of the term of the president elected in 2020. During this mid-term election year, all 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate will be contested. 39 state and territorial governorships and numerous other state and local elections will also be contested. This will be the first election affected by the redistricting that will follow the 2020 United States Census.

The 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries and caucuses will be a series of electoral contests organized by the Democratic Party to select the approximately 3,979 pledged delegates to the Democratic National Convention. Those delegates shall, by pledged votes, elect the Democratic nominee for president of the United States in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. The elections are scheduled to take place from February to June 2020 in all fifty U.S. states, the District of Columbia, five U.S. territories, and Democrats Abroad.
