The Peoria City Council election of 2001 was held on April 5, 2001. It consisted of election for the councilmen representing the city's five single-member constituencies. The seats represented half of the Council. The election was held on the ballot as the mayoral election of 2001. The council is presided over by the mayor, who is elected separately.
