The Central European Olympiad in Informatics (CEOI) is an annual informatics competition for secondary school students. Each of the participating central European countries (plus one or two guest countries, and a local team from the host area) sends a team of up to four contestants, a team leader and a deputy team leader. The contestants compete individually, i.e. a team score is not calculated. Competitors are selected through national competitive programming contests.

The 2004 UEFA Intertoto Cup football finals were won by Lille, Schalke 04, and Villarreal.

The 2001 UEFA Intertoto Cup finals were won by Aston Villa, Paris Saint-Germain and Troyes. All three teams advanced to the UEFA Cup.

The qualification for the UEFA Women's Euro 2005 was held between March 26, 2003 & November 27, 2004. The first-placed of the group stage qualified directly. The second-placed and the two best third-placed teams played in two playoff matches for three other berths. England qualified as host.

Qualifying for UEFA Women's Euro 2009 determined which 11 teams joined Finland, the hosts of the 2009 tournament, to play for the UEFA Women's Championship.

UEFA U-19 Championship 2008 is the second round of qualifications for the Final Tournament of UEFA U-19 Championship 2008. The winners of each group join hosts Czech Republic at the Final Tournament.

The 2011–12 season was FC Dinamo București's 63rd consecutive season in Liga I. In this season, Dinamo played in Liga I, Cupa României and UEFA Europa League, due to the 6th place occupied in the previous season of the Championship.


Preliminary round matches was played from the 19 to 23 October and matches in the main Qualifying round was played from the 14 to 18 December.

The 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification play-off ties were played over two legs, with the first legs scheduled on 11 and 12 October 2012 and the second legs on 15 and 16 October 2012. The seven winners qualified for the final tournament in Israel. Qualifying play-offs were the second stage of 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification.

The 2015–16 UEFA Futsal Cup was the 30th edition of Europe's premier club futsal tournament, and the 15th edition under the current UEFA Futsal Cup format organized by UEFA.

The 2017 UEFA Youth Olympic Futsal Qualifying Tournament was an international youth futsal competition organised by UEFA as qualifying for the futsal tournament at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires. Two under-18 national teams each from Europe qualify for the boys' tournament and the girls' tournament.

The 2008 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship for Women was the seventh edition of the Women's European basketball championship for national under-20 teams. It was held in Chieti, Sulmona and Pescara, Italy, from 11 to 20 July 2008. Russia women's national under-20 basketball team won the tournament and became the European champions for the fourth time.

The 2022 UEFA Under-19 Futsal Championship qualifying competition will be a men's under-19 futsal competition to determine the seven teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Spain in the 2022 UEFA Under-19 Futsal Championship final tournament. Players born on or after 1 January 2002 are eligible to participate.
